成绩出来了，涉险挤入了９９队伍。总的来说，准备的不是很充份，详见以前贴的＂我
的step ３经历＂，主要是在吃CK的老本；其他乏善可陈，成绩单里唯一的一个星号是
给了CCS，这里就说一说CCS好了。
以前总把CCS和CS混淆，其实这两个有一个共同点就是open choices和uncertainty。在
这总场合，最重要的可能就是要有一个严格的protocol，这样可以尽量避免遗漏。考过
CS的同学都知道LIQOR AAA和PAMHUGSFOSS的重要性。CCS也一样。网上比较流行的是
Neeraj的protocol，用google一搜就能找到。非常有用。我把他的protocol稍微整理了
一下，自以为是更加简洁有条理一些。给几个朋友用了用，有的朋友觉的没有时间应用
，有的朋友用了觉的还成，让我贴出来，最后的决定是如果考出来还行就贴，要不就不
出来吓人了。
象CS一样这个protocol充满了mnemonics，开始考试之前第一件事就是把所有的

发帖数: 174 | 6 考试之前弄清楚CS 的考核的标准很重要：我把report的一部分贴出来，后来的同学可
以根据这些调整自己的备考侧重。
我比较罗嗦，别拍我砖。
复习材料比较单一：FA， UW， Kaplan5天班
（对于Neeraj我比较不喜欢，内容啰嗦不实用，除了几个比较特殊的病例可以参考它问
诊提SP哪方面的问题，但是具体问法和closure都不敢恭维）
前后一个半月，头半个月边CK边CS的，囫囵吞枣跟着group过了FAcase之外的内容和
Neeraj。最后3星期才和partners练的。
1）这回开始所有report都有图表了，看见自己的report有点失望，过是过了，可是我
这种IMG怎么才能像AMG那样挥洒自如呢？语言关，文化差异，还有自信心。。。这些硬
条件都可以用勤劳和时间的积累弥补吗？这得问问正在/已经做了resident的前辈了。
2）抽时间把所有要用到的问句，closure的模式改写成你自己的习惯和句式。书上的句
子都不是自己的，说出来永远都像背书，怎么可能自然？！
3）physical:我实在对UW非常失望，它的product line里面最差的估计就是这个CS，错
漏不少，而 |

相对于step 1 和 step 2CK，step3 的经验是最少的。其实step 3 一点也不会容易。
尤其是对于没有 internal medicine intern year经验的人来讲。对于内科的同学，
intern year 做完了，去考试应该没有大问题。对于非 medicine, peds, family med
之类的专业来讲，step 3还是需要好好规划。
我的复习情况：2个月，白天上班，晚上复习。 材料 uworld （为主），一点点MTB 3.
考试前做了 NBME form 4 （两周），还有uworld self assessment. 所有的分数都差
不了几分，基本卡在平均线上。最后的成绩也是平均分.
1） 时间计划好。如果不是medicine之类的专业，或者step 2考完挺久了，或者不
能全职复习，我觉得至少两个月的复习时间。
2） 材料： uworld不用多提。剩下很重要的复习材料就是archer，对于ccs很重要
。还有就是 USMLE step 3 网站上自己CCS的六道模拟题。

我是一个经不起调戏的人。没感觉的人调戏我，我会非常反感以至于翻脸；有感觉的人
调戏我，我会非常紧张以至于当真。不少人因为一两句话触及我的底线，被我一声不吭
地拖了黑名单。迄今为止唯一能跟我互相调戏又能让我既不反感也不当真的家伙，就只
有武大一个，这就是备胎的独特之处啊。
此外，熟悉我的人应该也发现了，我有肢体接触恐惧，除了与亲人和男友可以亲近之外
，就连跟女生挽手都会十分不习惯以至于手心狂冒汗，关系再好也不行。若是其他男生
对我有比较亲昵的动作，我一般会下意识地躲开，也不排除有时会反应过度误伤对方==
。不过，这世上有一批能对我随意动手动脚的家伙，他们的统称叫做队友，那是因为我
把他们归为亲人。当然，所谓的动手动脚，一般也只是捏脸……
或许因为我在这方面容忍度比较低，所以虽然这次印度之行十分欢乐收获颇丰，但也有

was a little over confident as I left all of notes intentionally in hotel
there. Actually I didn't do well in Data gathering, perhaps because I was
just in the middle of CK study, knowledge was not sufficent. My patient
notes did well, and question taking skill was highest (I wasn't nervous at
all except 1st case).
Advice to people in CS study, do thoroughly UW, FA and Neeraj note, I didn't
do well though. Practising with |

发帖数: 179 | 29 前前后后拖拖拉拉复习快两个月，开始复习的时候找不到感觉静不下心，后面冲刺的时
候又眼巴巴地盼着我的lor赶紧scan上去，所以彻彻底底放任了这门考试，一份耕耘一
份收获，成绩就是在反映水平，看着牛魔王师兄们的triple 99只有流口水的份儿。
先来说说MCQ, 我当时复习做了一遍uw 1300多道题，其间记了笔记（哈哈，还要感谢一
下刘老师对笔记技巧的指导），然后看了大半本family practice，冲刺的时候把笔记
从头到尾又看了一遍就上战场。现在体会下来应该是uw题库足矣，family practice有
900多页，每一页看起来都像在啃骨头，最后满嘴是血还难以吸收，导致的结果是多用
了我20天的时间但收获甚微。我还是喜欢uw选择里逻辑较强的感觉：）。
再来说说ccs，这个最好提高，最容易拿分，10天时间应该够了。对于正在刚刚开始准
备的同学，
1.建议先看Neeraj's note。里面把所有的原则都列了出来，让你对ccs有一个整体的认
识，对一些基本处理步骤心中有数。我是在还没开始uw ccs47 case前每天地铁上
commute的时候读了几遍。

发帖数: 602 | 31 刚繁了一下精华区， 对STEP 3 有了大体了解，分MCQ和CCS两部分，MCQ比较难，没
啥很好的复习资料而CCS相对容易，短期内有挺大的提高。初步打算是：MCQ部分，
看一遍STEP 2 CK VIDEO，看一遍CRUSH STEP 3，然后做UW QBANK。 CCS部分，先看
看SHAHER's CD，Neeraj's note，然后看UW的CCS cases。 Angleahan推荐的family
practice examination &Board Review好像挺好但很厚，没时间就不看了。目标是
85分，明年4-5月份考，可行不？ |

My report was the opposite. I think data gathering should be history taking.
I followed the style of FA.
about the question skills:
I think you need to find out the best way to ask your questions. you can
firstly find lots of sample questions from UW, Neeraj's notes, and FA ...,
then, write down and pick the best (simple and easy for you) sentences, then
, practice on them. Other skills: open questions, no leading questions, nonjud |

发帖数: 2295 | 41 话说我这个人永远是拖泥带水，胆小如鼠的。考CS也不例外。周三拿到成绩，拖拖拉拉的到今天才有时间汇报一下。和以往一样，总是有借口的，因为在赶一篇paper，好容易周五投出去了。意外的data gathering还拿到一个星号，自我感觉查体还是不错，但是问病史经常丢三落四的，开始试图记住FA上的问题，后来放弃了，改为按照系统问，看来还是奏效了。个人感觉没有必要劳心费神的背FA上的问题，太痛苦了。按照系统问就好了。
先唐一下我的感激之情，感谢家人的支持，和live/online partners的帮助。还有众多
网友的帮助，有无私邮寄书给我的，有帮助我扫描文件的，打来电话支持和鼓励的，发牢骚贴时安慰支持的，等等。非常非常的感激。
材料：FA+UW+neeraj note
时间：2个月+1周，汗一下，就算有全职工作的借口也是够拖泥带水的。其实个人觉得准备1个月就足够了。我在练习了3周的时候去上了NJ的班，当时SP说我没问题。出于一贯胆小如鼠的心理，回来还是在home school约了mock exam，结果这个mock exam一个月才1－2次，又练习了2－3周才去考了mock exam,又等 |

发帖数: 227 | 43 1月19号考的，2月9号收到成绩，正带着一家老小旅游，忐忑无比的查看成绩，担心糟
糕的成绩破坏旅游的兴致。93，不算高分，不过自己挺开心的。需要H1b，想赶在2月15日
program ROL之前出成绩，至少按计划完成任务。就想贴贴自己的备考过程，给准备
step3的兄弟姐妹一个参考。
准备时间：1个半月。之前 准备面试 扰的心静不下来，也就草草的过了一遍UW CCS
88case。12月5日正式开始做UW。
－－－mutiple choice－－－－
参考了精华区，知道很难短时间内提高很多，加上时间短，于是集中精力做UW，每个题
都弄明白，遇到step1，2相关的内容就翻翻笔记，没有专门花时间再看CK的书。难记的
点做成flashcard，上厕所，睡觉前，或是半夜被宝宝闹醒睡不着的时候翻来覆去的看
。感觉考试的时候，这些flashcard上的知识点记得比较清楚，可以帮助排除选项。正
确率第一遍56%，第二遍65－80%。多选题做得并不好，如果大家时间短，对分数要求不

Got my step 3 result: 238 (99), very nice surprise.To be honest, my goal is
just to pass, that’s all I need, not even above 90. My UW 1st time is only
around 60%. So many questions in the real exam feel clueless.
I did Step 3 towards the end of my intern year. I’d like to share my
experience with you, hopefully it’ll be helpful for the interns right now.

。
比如等结果时 ，可以抽空补全 以前没做的体检，一般等做完了，时间也就自动advaced forward了。 |

??? 我在UW里试了，5min之后怎么都不能转ICU了，童鞋们有转到的没？介绍下咋下的

2。有些case觉得f/u很重要的，但是在5min screen上怎么开appointment呢？是不是就
开个检查或者flu shot然后选个later date就算是我们已经考虑f/u了呢？

1. As far as I know we cannot change location during the last 5mins. I don't
know why Neeraj note said we can.

2.对于ER case, NEERAJ's protocol 是先稳定病人，然后快速的查2-3个系统，等在
lab results pending时，再重新做彻底的PE（全部系统）。 UW 是先稳定病人，再做
几乎是全部的PE，那些不必要的系统就不做了。请问那个比较好？
3.office case, 每次appointment, 是否需要全部PE?
4.术前抗菌素，是每个病人都需要吗？UW 有些需要，有些不需要？怎么来判断？
5.手术后day1, 出现5mins screen,那些静脉用药和生命体症监测需要停吗？
