如果真的要便宜住到西边或南边的suburb，例如elk grove ＆ schaumburg，都还是要
开车到地铁站附近做地铁
这也太折腾～而且不一定划算，因为地铁也是很贵的！
priceline上标个郊区的旅馆，每天开车进城(--其实chicago很多neiborhood很有意思
，如果有规划进去，不会天天进城)，进城找销售parking的网站定停车位，这样是我觉
得在时间和金钱上compromise的方法 |

Garden City （南面来说比较贵）, Merrick, Bellmore, Wantagh, Massapequa都很好，nice neiborhood with very decent schools, 而且坐LIRR很方便，40分钟左右到penn station.
East Meadow（中国人相对较多）, Bethpage, Levittown更便宜点，也还行,不过east

sfh，要53-55万，所以估计能砍到48就不错了。
我们俩还是很看重车库的，所以对B犹豫，它是路尽头小圈圈（不路冲），扇形lot，所
以不能加盖车库。再说真要推倒重建，我们不如买那一区30万不能住的房子得了。但是
目前我们没有那个精力和能力推倒重建。
B区新一点带车库townhouse要60万了，我们负担不起。40万的没车库又小于1500尺，太
小。B区花大钱买townhouse升值潜力会大于A区的sfh？
另：A区neiborhood的安全性绝对高于B区。因为B离地铁太近，劳模什么还是挺多的。 |
