出新情况了:
我中午后来发e-mail告诉他们如果只是3个月的contract,我不想take了.如果你们肯给
我permanent,我肯定能接受这个offer.
我想就这么turn down算了.
结果晚上回家之前,查了邮箱,他们又发e-mail来了,说愿意把contract延长到6个月,并
且还是保证6个月到后如果好的话,会转正.
我问了Senior有多大把握可以在现在的公司保我保到6个月?他无法回答了,他说他可以
保我3个月,但6个月他没有任何把握,他说6个月后他自己有没有工作都是个问题.这个
office可能不会长久了.
我于是和agent发e-mail回去,说可以reconsider这个6个月的contract,要求他们给我时
间,我周五会给答复.我周三有2个on-site,我想看过这两个on-site再决定.
Senior说看他们怎么说,如果他们答应的话,周五你再决定.但他要我和他们再neogiate,
要求把每小时工资再涨一点.Senior说如果你决定要这个offer的话,这次是个很好的机
会,把你在这个业界的工资涨一涨,你必须尝试一次,你这次要的越多,对你将来就越有利

现在工资 98.5K,这几年公司效益不好,所以没有bonus sharing
拿到local一个500强公司 offer
salary只给了90k,5k sign on 但是说2016有10% incentive
HR给offer的时候说现在base+bonus差不多match你现在的base了,我觉得有点low ball
了, 如果neogiate 的话怎么提?是直接要求match现在的base,还是要求再加点?
另外现在收到的是口头加email,正式offer letter还没到,是要等到正式offer lette
r到了再讨价还价吗?
现在公司估计马上要裁人,所以估计还是会接这个offer,sigh

还开的这么低

年纪大了,懒得刷题折腾FLAG,裸面了一堆纽约的创业公司。
Wework给了16万的base和一年值2万5左右的options
没想到200亿估值的公司如此抠门。。。考虑到他们的估值可能虚高,没有继续

最后接了别的Offer

Well, you can neogiate on anything if you want.
But unless it is broken, seller don't have to do anything about it.
That's being said, AC/heating in attic is not very good anyway.

inpector也说建议换新的。这个能拿来和卖家negoiate吗?比如说要求换个新的?

正规的neogiation过程都是要书面签字的,比如你第一次出304K offer的时候就需要签
字的,最后如果卖家答应了这个offer,你又取消的话,人家是可以去告你的,当然基
本上没人愿意浪费时间去告你。

没见过不等于不普遍存在,呵呵。我们就是这样的,先面试然后口头Offer,然后
Neogiate,包括工资和Start Date,都谈好了,才发正式书面的Offer。

when you return the leasing car, small damage is charged by excessive tear
and wear. big damage is covered by the insurance you are required to buy at
the lease. So answer is yes/no. if you take care of car, then you won't get
any charge. Otherwise, you might need to pay excessive wear and tear fee and
/or insurance deductible.
you can also buy excessive wear and tear insurance at the time of lease.
then you only need to take care of big damage to the car.

Just like Lin and NBA games, trying to entertain people like you who may watch games or read a post on this board.
Of course, he and other NBA players are making millions a year, and their

you should say something like "I think I worth more than that. What I can do
for you is blah blah blah." hoho. heard many cases about neogiate salary.
The most important thing is your future salary will be based on your current
salary.
For example, if you only get a postdoc at 35K$, the next position you get
postdoc will be around 40K$, faculty will be around lowest entry level.
But you get at 45K$, the next position will be around 50K, faculty will be
middle entry level.
So it is very important
