这份由杜鲁多基金会(Trudeau Foundation)所作、有关该市生活质素的调查发现，当大家被问到一个简单问题“你的城市近年来如何变得更糟？”，近1/3的人称交通及道路是最头疼的问题。
许多人(23%)还认为，这是该市目前面临的最严峻挑战。
根据这份对大多伦多地区210人作出的调查显示，交通问题超过犯罪、生活开支及社会服务缺乏等问题，占据首位。
主持调查的Environics公司的诺伊曼(Keith Neuman)指出，多伦多的比例高过平均，反映了多伦多作为一个大都市的现实；民众的担忧，更多针对车流及拥塞问题，而不是交通运输问题。
该调查结果的公布，正值大多伦多地区市民对两大有关民众切身利益的坏消息舆论哗然之时：TTC正在准备再次加价；当局可能对汽车征收通行费，以解决日益恶化的交通阻塞问题。上周，经济合作及发展组织公布的报告称，交通问题给大多伦多地区造成20亿元的生产力损失。

当然了，他写的比我好多了，呵呵。
1、Princeton
Princeton，曾经世界科学的中心，也是我心中科学的圣地。Princeton拥有美国最美丽的
校园，也是理论研究气息最浓的学府之一。最早，Turing在此，von Neuman也在此，他们
是cs的先驱。近年，华人Turing奖Andrew Yao先生也一直在此工作(刚刚转去清华了)，其
他各个领域的大牛无数。Princeton的cs不大，在us的排名仅为第9，但绝对算得上是顶尖
，尤其是theory方向。她一直是我的dream school，可惜残酷的把我拒之门外，sigh。南
大近年有两个校友就读，但都相继毕业。可怜我没能续上南大cs在普林的香火，学弟们一
定要努力。其实，如果做一些小小的research，不难发现美国几乎所有的顶级牛校都有南
大cs的学长就读，可是我们系出国一直不能形成良好的风气(当然有爆发的两年，95和99两
届)，而且有衰落的趋势，一是和南大总体的风气有关，二是我们系学生对出国没有正确的

final什么的，是很严重的security hole，一般讲c的书都这么讲。二般的公司，差不
多就行了。
von neuman architecture，程序空间和变量空间分离。这样program才reloadbale，
才有code reuse, 面向对象etc.
