其实看红叶最好的时间是10月的第三个周末，所以推迟一周会更好，当然12号到15号也
不错的。看样子是第一次去，Cades Cove还不错，就是下午很堵，最好安排早上，最远
点Abrams Fall trail比较出名，不远适合热身。从Newfound Gap走Appalachian trail
人很多，路基本上在山脊上比较好走。从Cataloochee Campground有一系列trail比较
原始，一
个女生注意安全。如果Camping的话，十个frontcountry campground里只有Balsam Mt
环境最好，但那里海拔高很冷，不知道那时候有没有关门。其他的frontcountry都很一
般，Backcountry 不推荐女生。Fontana Lake有个租Kayak的地方boating。Gatlinburg
有个Fork Motor Trail看红叶很不错，入口就在Gatlinburg附近很方便。

澄。对此湖一无所知，严重低估了NH的气温跟水温。早上气温36度，水温47-48之间，
全天没有超过50度的水温。早上船飙40MPH，小分队员同志们冻得抬不起头，我穿的太
少，鼻子也潮了。奔了几个石头区，水较浅5-10尺左右，未见生命迹象。全天基本贴岸
钓15-30之间的水深。未见小嘴踪影，3个人3条杆子没有咬口。去的几个地方也没错，
这天万里无云，水温是辣手的凉。我猜小嘴所在位置比30尺深，40-50尺，甚至60尺。
我没有好的电子设备玩这么深，50-60尺的水深我还没这个本事搞到它们。全天我二个
咬口，擒拿上船18寸，三磅半，在船边没挂住另一条类似大小的。小分队员说，没上床
不算，所以我只有一条，小分队员说他们今天算钓的不错了，只比我少一条！大家心态
都很好，虽然没钓到鱼，就算是观光吧，以后吹牛皮可以说这个湖去过了。这次春钓NH
的经验值得借鉴学习，出师太早太急，陌生湖泊尤其困难。NH比MA晚至少二星期。鲈鱼

钱很多精力在钓鱼的爱好上，有的时候简直会有犯罪感。然而一山还有一山高，这点我
非常清楚，被打落牙齿和血吞的日子也不少，比方说，今年春季四次远征NH，Newfound
Lake，Winnisquam Lake，Winnipesaukee Lake，Squam Lake，我对收获表示很不满意
，原因是第一时间节气掌握不对，第二船钓应变能力欠佳，第三心凶命穷，老想在主湖
大岛周围爆钓而不原意猥琐的打边，不吸取康州第一大湖Candlewood Lake的经验教训
，第四对钓点的持久性不够，移动换位过多，走马看花，等等。离个“牛”字还差太远
，我若是“牛人”了，你让脯肉情已何堪？我认为一个地区的牛人是鱼导的干活，他们
一周花60小时以上在水面上，就算Bass Pro里面的大牛牛都要向他们请教。 |

上个周末带老爸老妈去了一趟great smoky mountain,整理出来一些图片，顺便写个简
单游记。
大雾山位于田纳西河北卡交界处，是整个美东每年访问量最大的一个国家公园。号称
hicking heaven，以生物多样性著称。著名的蓝脊公路（blue ridge pkway)也终于此
处。东海岸没有高山，但是此处群山环绕，也阻挡了北上的暖湿气流，因而山中终年云
雾缭绕，远远望去，恍如仙境。
我们到的时候恰好是5月底，乃是一年当中水量最为丰沛的时候。山中颇多瀑布溪流，
山中很多公路也是挨着溪流蜿蜒向前。
公园里面的山脉是东西走向，南北长约35 mile。 441号公路横贯其中。Newfound gap
正好位于路的中段，乃是整个美东最高的山峰。此处视野开阔，可以俯瞰群山.
Cades Cove是很受欢迎的一条loop。这里有很多先民遗迹和丰富的物种。 |

周五下午2~3点走，开车到Gatlinburg并住在那里
周六早上6点出发，7点到达Cades Cove
10:30~11:00 am 离开Cades Cove，去Pigeon River Whitewater Rafting
之后下午去Newfound Gap，Clingmans Dome看日落（请问8月21日左右日落大致是几点
啊？山上日落是不是要早一点）
晚上逛Gatlinburg，看show或者去鬼屋Ripley's Haunted Adventure
住在Gatlinburg

风景和龙虾让人难忘。25日到了加国的NOVA SCOTIA，风雨交加，在高速上连开了四个
小时，小车在狂风中飘来飘去，晚上就累发烧了。由于住的地方WIFI信号很不好，本想
在网上预订第二天的船票也没订成，想到NEWFOUND LAND比较偏就直接去码头了。
到码头傻了，卖票的说只有预订的才能上船，俺问那现在订可以不，可人说满了，下一
班到那半夜一点，离预订住的地方还有两三个小时车程，行程就全乱了。不死心想看看
有没有空位，大婶说那先去排吧，如果有就让你们上。刚排上过来一位三十多岁的工作
人员，问我们买没买仓位，下午三点的船晚上八点到，自然没买。他说如果买仓位了，
可以让我们上船，甚至给我们出个主意，现在去买，上船后再退。俺就想去买了，可同
行的一位男士不同意，说如果能上船就买,那位转身走了。俺一琢磨这么干等肯定没戏
了，就跑到最前面去找那位商量，求他帮帮忙，结果让等半小时。过了没多久，看见前
面一些人往后走，挨着我们前面车上的帅哥牵着他的狗也锁车向后走了，那位工作人员

今天看到旅游版上有人转过去一篇参赛文章，才知道这个活动。看了一下活动规则才发
现原来今天是最后一天，我也赶快赶在截止之前来凑个热闹。我所有的照片都是出自同
一器材——Canon SD870 IS。这种卡片机根本不可能进这里的大侠们的法眼，估计是不
是很多人都没听说过啊。而且我们的摄影知识几乎为零，又不会后期处理，所以照片质
量就可想而知了，所以发在摄影器材版纯粹就是重在参与了，呵呵。
不过我们去过的公园数量够多（一共32个），而且很集中（前24个都是在2009年12月到
2010年12月这13个月里面用同一张年票去的）。估计如果要评选年票最佳利用率的话我
们可以当选。由于每个公园只允许选一张照片，很多公园实在是很难取舍。而且很多公
园有些标志性景点，估计大家都会选用，所以我尽量选一些希望能有点与众不同的照片

如果不爬到LeConte的顶一般的旅游鞋就够了。Alum Cave trail到那个叫Alum Cave
Bluffs的洞那2迈多很好走，坡度不大。不过山顶的风景比半山腰好太多。要是全走下
来大概10迈多一些，我们当时走了将近6个小时，包括山顶逗留半个多小时，还有中途
各景点搔首弄姿照相。另外下山下雨走的慢，要是天气好，不需要这么久。
也没啥必去的点，我觉得很多地方风景都差不多。有时间走走blue ridge parkway进山
，没时间就算了。要去Cades Cove就趁早，否则里面车开得慢压着你急死人。
其他的点，Clingmans Dome, Newfound Gap,可以参考版面其他帖子，最近大雾山的帖
子层出不穷。
其实最直接的就是一去先问visitor center，告诉他们你想要看的东西。他们会根据你
的情况推荐。比如我就直接说我想看好风景，不在乎爬山难易，所以ranger直接就给推
荐了alum cave这条，压根没提人民群众喜闻乐见的laurel falls. |

园子里面没有正规餐厅，只有在Cades Cove Campground store里面有food bar卖
sandwich， pizza之类的，其它几个visitor center只有vending machine。所以午餐
基本上要带，除非愿意开到园外小镇上吃。园子里的picnic area不少，有的还有烧烤
架，有时间的话烧烤也不错，部分地方冬天不开放。部分picnic area还有带seat的
pavilion，估计可以用来办婚礼，需要预定，收10-75刀。具体信息：http://www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/picnic.htm

另外，Blue Ridge Parkway上有的overlook也可以picnic，一般有1-2个site，没
有烧烤架，比如Big Witch Overlook就有两个点。

停车的地方，只能停到收费停车场，5-10刀不等。快餐有麦当劳，subway等。更北边的

自从有了孩子以后，已经多年没有在仲秋时节走出德州看过红叶了。两个星期前看到奥
斯汀微信旅游群里有人贴出科罗拉多州灿烂的秋景，我们也动了心。本想哥伦布日（10
月10号）那个周末也去科罗拉多，但是一番研究发现科州的秋景在九月底就已经达到高
潮，10月中旬的话叶子恐怕都掉光了。看了看其他选择，因为只有三天时间，去东北路
途太远机票太贵，去北密开车时间太长，算来算去好像只有田纳西州的大雾山性价比比
较合适。从圣安东尼奥飞亚特兰大，Frontier的机票一个人才150块。
可是没有想到的是这次来大雾山(Smoky Mountain)出游还真是折腾。首先周五路上堵车
，去圣安东尼奥机场多花了半个小时；去往亚特兰大的航班晚点一个多小时；到了机场
都半夜了偏偏碰上轻轨出了故障而停摆，从最里面的跑道走出来又花了近四十分钟；然
后租车还出了点问题。折腾完了开车到旅馆的时候，已经是周六凌晨四点左右了。
亚特兰大的机场我应该比较熟悉，十几年前和女友（现在的领导）在这里认识，经常飞

发帖数: 10760 | 36 今天看到旅游版上有人转过去一篇参赛文章，才知道这个活动。看了一下活动规则才发
现原来今天是最后一天，我也赶快赶在截止之前来凑个热闹。我所有的照片都是出自同
一器材——Canon SD870 IS。这种卡片机根本不可能进这里的大侠们的法眼，估计是不
是很多人都没听说过啊。而且我们的摄影知识几乎为零，又不会后期处理，所以照片质
量就可想而知了，所以发在摄影器材版纯粹就是重在参与了，呵呵。
不过我们去过的公园数量够多（一共32个），而且很集中（前24个都是在2009年12月到
2010年12月这13个月里面用同一张年票去的）。估计如果要评选年票最佳利用率的话我
们可以当选。由于每个公园只允许选一张照片，很多公园实在是很难取舍。而且很多公
园有些标志性景点，估计大家都会选用，所以我尽量选一些希望能有点与众不同的照片
放在这里。我的游记里有更多照片，大家如果有兴趣的话欢迎去旅游版捧场。
因为MITBBS发帖限制附件总大小在1MB以内，而活动规定又说照片短边不能小于600像素
。我把所有的照片都调成800x600，总大小还是5.5MB以上。所以只能先在这个帖子里面

月中出发月底回，走ACADIA NP,然后加国海洋四省。中旬出发时风和日丽，阿卡的亚的
风景和龙虾让人难忘。25日到了加国的NOVA SCOTIA，风雨交加，在高速上连开了四个
小时，小车在狂风中飘来飘去，晚上就累发烧了。由于住的地方WIFI信号很不好，本想
在网上预订第二天的船票也没订成，想到NEWFOUND LAND比较偏就直接去码头了。
到码头傻了，卖票的说只有预订的才能上船，俺问那现在订可以不，可人说满了，下一
班到那半夜一点，离预订住的地方还有两三个小时车程，行程就全乱了。不死心想看看
有没有空位，大婶说那先去排吧，如果有就让你们上。刚排上过来一位三十多岁的工作
人员，问我们买没买仓位，下午三点的船晚上八点到，自然没买。他说如果买仓位了，
可以让我们上船，甚至给我们出个主意，现在去买，上船后再退。俺就想去买了，可同

this board, who passed away recently. It's interesting to hear an Indian
interpretation of many concepts of Buddhism, e.g. karma, enlightenment,
