onsite里面的2，面试官说时间连续，但实际上还是离散的吧，因为输入是离散的？还
是说共有部分要加权，比如【2,4】 是100，【3,5】是200，【3,4】就是150， 而不是
300？
onsite里面的7，是想detect什么异常？如果不是复杂的log，是不是可以直接check
pattern或者hash。 你说的outlier detection，是说要把每行log先转化成feature，
然后把几个常见的pattern设为positive，异常的row作为negative，然后train
classifier吗，？

发帖数: 141 | 22 Update：跟FB说了TS的offer之后FB迅速给了个NYC的职位。所以就从了。哈哈哈。
背景：野鸡phd，三流公司一年经验，搞网络的。本人在湾区，但是女友在NYC，这次找
工作也是本着往纽约跑的目的找的，基本没怎么大面积面试弯曲的工作。
F就是标准package了。但是地点是menlo park。他们负责给网络这块招聘的recruiter
联系的，面试也是他们组面的，以至于我的设计题是跟版上完全不同的设计一个网络协
议来实现rsync，比newsfeed之类的简单多了。Bootcamp之后估计就是去这个组。一年
之后应该会有机会transfer去NYC办公室，但是估计就是去做别的了。coding都是LC原
题或者类似的水平。真心比狗家简单。
Two Sigma具体offer还没出来。地点当然就是NYC了。infra组，具体做什么不知道，应
该是跟他们在搭的private cloud有关。具体做什么不明是我最大的concern。至于面试
，真心难，而且其实非常practical，仔细想想应该都跟他们的工作有关系。另外就是

1. an SQL question. 一个table, 她在那说有哪些column, 我在墙上写，说实话很不
习惯这种方式，原来以为会在电脑上写的，大概有date, content_id, content_type,
target_id等等，然后问每个content_type平均有多少comment之类的，还有一些follow
-up question. 怎么fit a distribution等等。很久没跟印度人打交道，很不习惯印度
口音，一开始她说一个词post, 我听了半天没听明白是p...
2. 有哪些metrics measure一个product,比如newsfeed,然后引申开了一些follow up。

time: add a max_id parameter to track the lowest id received.
In another case, to receive the latest feed without duplication, add a since
_id parameter to track the highest id received.

cursor之后的timeline，全部fetch，然后按照rank 排序，返回rank高的几个并且在DB
里面mark成visited。。如果cursor恰好被mark了，就把cursor移动到下一个。
不过这样的问题在于，如果我是分布式的，我要把好几个replica都mark成visited，可
能会比较慢。
