经过三年调查，俄亥俄州有史以来最大宗的签证诈欺案日前达成认罪协议，涉及滥用H-
1B签证的俄州州立莱特大学(Wright State University)将缴交100万元罚款，学校高层
还得继续接受司法部的严格审查。
莱特大学是在2010年到2015年间，利用高等院校聘雇外籍人员免抽签且不限数量即可获
H-1B签证的“漏洞”，将数十名员工“卖”给校外私营顾问公司，然后从中赚取非法的
薪资差价。
负责密西根州、俄亥俄州的国土安全部特别干员佛兰西斯(Steve Francis)说，希望执
法单位对莱特大学这起俄州有史以来最大宗签证诈欺案的制裁，对其他可能滥用签证的

我的疑惑是，substantially, voluntariness is not an issue here in this case,
since Commonwealth v. Allen provides "When the voluntariness of a defendant'
s statements to private citizens is an issue, the
judge should conduct a voir dire to determine the
voluntariness of the statements.", this case (Waters) happened before Allen,
and Allen is not retroactive, therefore voir dire is not required,
voluntariness is not determined.

game theory); other resources include Lexis/Nexis, PriMark, and Dow Jones News
Retrival (can only go back two yeras).
One related literature is on central bank decision making (on monetary policy).
Europeans are ahead in this area (von Hagen, Fratianni).
Battacharia (I may have got the spelling wrong. He's an Indian from India),
David Besanko (now in Michigan) are two good starting points two. |

Simmons is the condemned, and petitioner Roper is the warden), cited pages
49-50 of respondent brief. I went to LEXIS/NEXIS (a paid site) to make a copy
of key portion of the brief, which was submitted to the court on July 19,
2004.
Explanations:
For acronyms CRC and CCPR, I incorporated two sentences preceeding pages 49

Massachusetts--where I live--high court rejected an identical excuse in 1996.
However, the Massachusetts statute makes it an arrrestable offense subject to
a fine of only $100--without jail time--and therefore the lowest form of
misdemeanor, like you smoke in the subway platform. Consequences are obvious
different in YOUR state.

这个比NAPLEX麻烦多了，尤其对于我们外国人。
由于时间的关系， 我只用了Cacciatore 59-page， 并且参考了student doc 论坛上的
几个帖子。
一共复习3天，每天4小时。其实也就是把59页看了2遍，然后再考前对照蓝皮书把下面
的知识点看了一下。我想对这个考试， 好好看59页应该够了。 下面的内容转发子别的
帖子。
I took the TX MPJE last week and found the test to be straightforward but
tricky at times. One thing that helped me was trying to figure out the point
of the questions, i.e. What are they trying to test? I used the Cacciatore
59-page guide to study and definitely recommend it if you are short on time.

模的到法院门口聚集可能就没办法了。还可以根据大的运动进行分类，比如民族主义
数据来源有lexis-nexis，FBIS，港台中文媒体，基本上能把关于中国报道收全了
另外还可以做political opportunity structure的对应变化
总之是个tedious的事情，但应该有研究的意义，不论是定量还是历史的研究 |

修改一下，然后又要我加些logistic regression, ANOVA之类的东西上去迎合求职要求
。 4,5 通电话后，他们说要问我的SSN， 说是因为公司每天都收到大量的申请，需要
make sure 没有double apply。 我坚持最多只给最后四位。
而且我也觉得很奇怪，我们平常申请工作，也没填过SSN，他们怎么根据这个来match
你有没有以前申过呢。
猎头问这个，是不是不太对劲。
