I've lived in Beijing and Shanghai both for more than 5 years so I can say
with authority that in general the Beijing people are far nicer, friendlier
and with a much better sense of humour. They're also far less obsessed with
money. For lots of Shanghainese, money is the only topic they have any
opinions about.

目, I might sometimes watch it once in a while. While I was there, I just
did what I did elsewhere, the only different than before is the city is
cleaner, the police is nicer(they are like shit before), I never saw 红歌
show, because I don't like it, but I did saw people dance in the parks and
almost everywhere following the pop songs although I do not like it either,
but people are happy.

我跟公司的一个年轻的ABC同事聊天,他从小美国出生长大,父母是中国来美国留学然后
工作的.
他自己中文说的不错。
我问他到中国去过没? 他说去过。
我问他How do you like it?
他摇摇头，说 It is much nicer here.
废话，是个人就能看出中国比美国差多了。
社会环境，秩序脏乱差，人民文明素养低，而且对人不友善，
很多人更很rude,大街上吵架打架的随处可见。
让一个根本不是在中国出生长大的人，认同中国这个国家，根本不可能。 |

能觉得中国比美国好的都是脑子进水的，这和认同没关系
如果不是挖坑的话，作为父母关键是培养自己孩子对heritage的认可，而不是全面把自
己和中国绑在一起，更不是不菲黑白说中国好才叫认同
欧洲的Irish到了美国，发觉很多美国人听到他说自己是Irish，纷纷表示，o，我也是
Irish！欧洲的Irish反而觉得好奇怪。。你们这些美国人和Irish有啥关系？这就是
Irish American对Irish heritage的认可。
至于Chinese American，说自己是Chinese的也有，但是比Irsh American少不少，这和

One striking aspect of houses in America is the flimsy quality of even the
most expensive ones. Houses are built literally like a house of cards. Weak
beams, plywood, flimsy insulation, flimsy siding and roofing that either
blows off in high winds or just rots away after a few years. Its really no
wonder that come tornado or hurricane and houses are literally ripped off of
their foundations and tossed into the air.

，勾搭了cnn,60min 一堆备胎，特别是60min,几次用twit来pump rating, 把fox 嫉妒
得不行，胜利全面回归，一帮名妓敢怒不敢言，态度明显比以前收敛很多。不管左媒还

几个月前想到买个新车。工作两年了，有了点碎银子。两年来一直开个10年老的2-door
Toyota，实在太破了，也不安全。
先决定什么类型的车。20K左右的预算，决定family sedan。也想过直接上个MiniVan以
备有孩子之用，但是看着车实在太大，1，2年之内都是后两排空着，没太必要。
然后买了consumer report，看了edmunds, 几本杂志，感觉比较好的车有：Fusion/
Milan, Altima, Camry, Accord, Aura & Sonata. 本着能不买日车就不买的原则，选
出了Milan, Aura 和Sonata作为candidates.
Fusion和Milan本质上是同一个车，CR上对此车reliability的评价极高(>=camcord)。
刚好最近出的JDPower的三年Quality report给的Mercury品牌排名很高，从edmunds上
