the only of the few NJTUer's in America. How narrow-minded! Why not directly
ask: "Am I the only NJTUer in one of US's elite Univ's?"
Tell you the truth, 7 of us in the same department (150 under students in
total)came to US in 2001 fall, directly after getting our BS. Not considering
the dozen of MS who came here that year~~~Envy bah? hiahia~~~~

month.
From my point of view, there are many many NJTUers in transportation field in
US. NJTU is a good school in the professors' eyes and my advisor got another
NJTU girl (97 grade) in the next fall semester. haha :-)

dept. must have recalculated the GPA, since so many ppl from China have a 3.0-
for BS.
High score doesn't mean that much. An indian girl got 3.93 for BS and
720/800/790 for GRE, 290 or 300 sth. for TOEFL (not 667 scale), she is
admitted already but doesn't get funing. My advisor's comment for her is |

easy to find a job. hehe, although I didn't get one. Other NJTUers in
transportation all got jobs after they did their master degree.
as far as I know:
1 guy in 95-got MS in UVA, worked in NJ, New Fleming consulting, working in
Beijing now
1 guy in 96-got MS in UVA, working in NYC
1 girl in 97-got MS in Gatech, working in Atlanta
1 guy in 97-got MS in TSU, working in Houston (Intern)
