本人新手，这个安装说明算是一个备份吧，如果要重新安装可以看看，也可以给新新手
参考。也请高手指点。
为什么没有装arch或者debian是因为看到有人说pogoplug自带的ntfs驱动比ntfs-3g性
能好，就想用原系统加装optware来安装samba共享。而且如果还想用my.pogoplug.com
也可以直接用。还没有实验过到底是自带的ntfs驱动快还是ntfs-3g快，就当瞎折腾了
，呵呵。
本说明基于POGO-E02，不保证在其他版本的pogoplug上也工作。对于使用本安装说明引
起的任何损失概不负责。

enable TRIM on ubuntu 11.10 by adding tag "discard,noatime" to fstab file.
However I could not pass the check based on some online instruction.
Does someone have the same experience ?
Any suggestion? |

add noatime,nodiratime,discard mount flags
i/o scheduler change to be noop.
mbr parition
trim not work automatically, i have to use fstrim manually.
also the speed is only about 140mb/s for reading.
no idea why it is so slow. thanks |

质上写你某年月日读了这个文件. 正常对硬盘其实是没什么关系的, 但是对于U盘, 读
和写的速度差很多, 而且你也不关心U盘上的系统啥时候被读过, 所以在mount的时候需
要设一个option叫noatime (no access time). |

没有什么输出，下面是/etc/fstab
$ cat /etc/fstab

然后n，p，2, 分区大小默认，然后t改成swap
不过现在分区表里面有sdb2了，还是不让我开swap。。。真是郁闷嘞

I just got a kingston v100 ssd (sv100s2n/64g), and I have tried to
enable TRIM on ubuntu 11.10 by adding tag "discard,noatime" to fstab file.
However I could not pass the check based on some online instruction.

轻松搞定，noatime在分区的时候就可以设好，不用之后再改
看来mint还是偏向傻瓜化的，稍微要点个性化就要折腾死 |

对我来说意义不大，除非是 sync mount的，这么用太亏了，况且本来就有system
cache,所以意义不大， 放HDD应该就可以了.
compile大项目的时候tmpfs比较有用，能快个20%左右
如果有hibernation，可以把hibernation file放在SSD上，如果是用swap做
hibernation这时候swap放在SSD上，现代linux除了hibernation基本不用swap,因此可
以放心放在SSD上。
/挂SSD，/home挂HDD是对的，但我觉得不是绝对的，比如一般syslog会sync到disk,这
个对SSD还是伤的，这种东西link到HDD上去 (不建议-/var). 而如果home中有不怎么修
改又常用的大文件，比如一些iso之类的，完全可以放到SSD上去。
noatime比较重要不然每读一次就一个write.
不过嘛，以上都是理论上的，现在的SSD没啥问题，每天写50GB也能毫无压力用上五六
年，所以我都是直接裸挂/,然后每天rsync一次到HDD就好。 |
