你好，我看到了你在non-profit过渡到for profit工作的帖子的回复。我现在也面临这
样的情况。能问一下你具体是怎么做的么？
我之前准备用concurrent h1b，将现在的工作变成parttime远程工作同时为新的公司工
作，但被现在的雇主告知不允许在州外工作。。
之前non-cap的h1b已经办好了，为什么还有lca？ 难道只要non-cap的h1b能cover 4月
到10月就可以了吗？可是如果quit掉non-cap的工作的话，此h1b还有效么？

的h1b, 现在的公司工作两年了, perm预计下个月处理 (希望不要被audit), 这周律师
发email说要办h1b extension.
- non-capped h1b是09年开始的, 但是现在这个capped h1b是两年前开始的, 平时说的
六年是指capped only还是non-capped+capped一齐算.
- 律师没有问我以前回国的情况, 这5年多中间陆陆续续回过国或者去过其他国家, 加
起来大概半年时间吧, 这个在extension的时候要不要说明, 还是移民局会自动根据出
入境来批发I94的到期日
- 如果下个月perm能批, 准备自己上pp140, 中间大概要弄多久, h1b extension的申请
在140批准之后比较好对吗?

大背景我们的medical insurance是BCBS MA，医院是Lahey at Burlington，in
network。上个月去lahey作了一次例行眼科检查，第一次去，医生就说去照一张眼底吧
。我也没想啥就照了。结果刚收到BCBS MA的EOB，其他部分没问题，但是这个照片被说
“not covered in a routine exam"，结果就算成我要付。电话BCBS被告知:如果医院
把费用代码转成medical diagnose的话就可以报。但如果转不了就你需要付，即便我说
了我没要求，也没被告知这个服务不会被cover。给Lahey打电话，同样情况解释一遍，
被告知code不能改，但会"review"一下。我问review是啥意思，那边不耐烦了（我整个
过程其实很客气），重说了说过的话。
把上面事抽象化：我想请问：当出现一个non-covered service且患者不知道这个是non

今年下半年因为换工作搬到 Wisconsin 州，发现 Wisconsin州 非公民和绿卡的外国人
报税要求按non-resident。今天用TurboTax 报税，发现按照 non-resident 退一千多
，可是如果按 resident，要补交900 多。现在很疑惑，是不是算错了，怎么 non-
resident 还要多退呢？按理说应该resident退得更多吧？看到Wisconsin 版有朋友因
为错填了resident，多退税，现在要补交加利息，害怕填错呀！
有哪位朋友能帮忙解惑吗？

最近拿到一个hedge fund的机会，但要求签3年的non-compete,请问这个时间合理吗？
一般都签几年啊？
据我所知，在non-compete期间，如果不能给竞争者上班，原公司是应该有补偿的。但
是这个公司既不让给竞争
者上班，又没有任何经济补偿，那这三年的non-compete还有效吗？ |

发帖数: 1007 | 11 non-clinical有很多方向，甚至比clinical方向更多。和clinical比起来，相对做得比
较杂，project比较小，没有那么多rules可以follow，但这也给了很多灵活性，
clinical相对比较死板。
不能说non-clinical就一定不好，方向窄，clinical一定好。目前的情况确实是由于
FDA的要求，各大药厂注重clinical这一块，clinical的职位openning比较多，所以跳
槽也就相对比较容易，但从业人数也更多，竞争也更激烈。而且现在clinical部门，已
经一半以上都是中国人（基本都是PHD），经常开会都用中文，有一些因为平时得不到
锻炼，英文很烂。中国人多的地方，你懂的，竞争激烈，不知道什么时候你才能胜出，
而且这个趋势正在加强。non-clinical人数少，竞争也少，中国人占的比例会少很多（
据我所知，15%左右），语言能力要求高一些，还有不少的Master（当然都是有工作经
验的）。所以具体在某个人身上，也很难说谁好谁不好。我个人觉得如果是Master的话

想起以前在网上看到的小trick。
直接上图说话（光顾着干活了，没拍照，图片是网上找的）
1，在Oreilly买non-fouler，又叫anti-fouler，就是一小套筒，不知道中文名叫什么
2，将non-fouler扩孔，用的是1/2"的钻头
3，拆下downstream的o2 sensor，拧进non-fouler里
4，将套上non-fouler的o2 sensor装回原位
这样o2 sensor就不会直接暴露在气流中，不会检测到高浓度氧气。开着车跑了两天，
check engine 灯就自己灭了。再去修车铺，顺利通过smog test。 |
