我原来在英国,notice period是3个月.但是听说美国的notice period很短.
我现在美国坐月子,今天刚刚孩子满月.下周有一个公司的面试.我可以跟公司说,明年1
月才开始工作么? 在英国是可行的,因为3个月notice period.但是如果在美国,会不会
就因此丢了机会?

improvement plan。虽然现在下家还没找好，但这个公司的工作环境实在是摧残，商量
之后决定辞职。公司员工手册上没有说辞职要求多长时间的notice，但是公司同时规定
如果不提前两礼拜通知辞职的话vacation time是不折算成钱发给员工的。
ld本打算辞职给两个礼拜notice把vacation拿到，但是同时也担心在这两个礼拜之内被
fire。我们搜索了一下at will的工作公司完全可以在你辞职之后立刻fire你，而且也
有好多人说他们有类似的经历。听说如果被fire的话以后找工作会有麻烦，ld说要不索
性不给notice算了。
我们也考虑过辞职之后notice period直接take vacation，但是还是担心在vacation的
时候公司fire。
有没有有经验的朋友能给个建议在这种情况下怎么做比较好，或者有过类似的经验可以
给我们参考下？我们实在是有点进退维谷。。。。。。。 |

2. 将来不会用现在老板做reference
3. 不在乎单位不发没有用掉的OPT的钱
4. 自己是小程序员，不在乎啥reputation

以前离职给过老板two weeks notice, 在最后两周内，老板故意用言语，脸色来刺激俺
，偏偏自己性格敏感，受到了伤害，很久不能平静，留下心理阴影，打算将来离职，再
也不给two weeks notice, 一封邮件直接离开，不论将来遇到的老板好或者坏。
有点担心的是将来再换工作，背景调查，会知道我在这家单位leave without two
weeks notice吗？ |

效，可以去法庭问问是否可以撤销，这样就不用等到12月8日了，可以立刻再发notice
。押金我从没给过收据，因为在lease上已经写了收到多少押金，lease就起到收据的作
用了。

收到我小孩的I797。所以我的问题是：
1. J2 转H4，spouse和小孩是否可以一起file呢？还是得分开file？
2. 一起file会拿到一个I797 notice？还是我老婆和小孩都会收到各自的I797 notice？
3. 收到这一份I797 notice （上面只有我老婆的名字，压根没有提我小孩的信息），
能否证明我小孩已经成功的从J2转为H4？

Security)给发了一个tentative nonconfirmation notice。说是immigrant
information或者是SSN有问题。我这两个都没有什么问题。就是四月的时候转过一次H1
。两次transfer的gap加在一起有个20天左右。
DHS会给一个contest的机会。需要在notice发出之后的八个工作日之内完成。contest
不过的话，就是final notice。如果收到final notice，雇主需要马上解雇我。
还没联系上律师。在网上查了一下，应该是DHS系统里的我的信息跟我自己提交的不
match。

注： 从目前两个center的动向来看，两个center都是在集中处理EB2的485, 而对于EB1
的，很明显是把材料单独拿出来放在一起，这才造成了1类在时间上被区分到了几个时
间段的现象。
正好4月VB停滞一个月，这样会给两个中心一些时间来消化一下EB2的申请，这样EB1才
能有可能继续大面积前进。

第一个日期是寄出日期 Postmark Date，在这一天你把申请材料交到了 USPS 或其它
carriers 的手中。这个日期反映在你付邮资的收据上；
第二个日期是收件日期 Received Date，这一天是 USCIS 实实在在收到你的申请的日
期。这个日期反映在你收到的 Receipt Notice 上；
第三个日期是收据日期 Notice Date，在这一天 USCIS 把你的申请输入到系统中去，

notice。
可今天再去USCIS网上查状态，说信无法投递被退回来了。具体描述如下：
On October 6, 2011, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on
this case I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER as undeliverable. This
may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283
to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent.
而且状态也由原来post decision activity变成initial review。
我觉得是USPS的投递出了问题，现在正在想办法解决。

弄丢了。只能找到Receipt Notice，OPT的卡和当时的信（就是贴OPT卡的一张纸）都在
。请问这种情况我能交Receipt Notice吗？公司当时也只要了OPT卡得复印件，很快没
一个月就转H1B了。一定要补办OPT Approval Notice么？谢谢！ |
