曾经参与基地组织飞机爆炸案的英国恐怖分子巴拉特SaajidBadat在纽约法庭上承认，
自己曾经在2001年时给过马来西亚的恐怖分子炸弹，其中一名马来恐怖分子正是飞行员。
巴拉特是在法庭昨天审理本拉登女婿的案件上出庭作证时说的。2005年，巴达特因为
参与策划2001年阴谋炸毁美国客机而被判刑13年。
虽然，巴拉特描述的2001年交给马来恐怖分子的炸弹恐袭后来被放弃，但在马航失联
航班仍下落不明的时候，这样的讯息无疑让人怀疑航班失联或仍与恐袭有关。
尽管国际刑警组织(Interpol)11日认定不是一起恐怖攻击事件，但航空安全专家波姆
(PhilipBaum)指出，马航班机失联可能涉及恐怖主义。甚至有专家认为马航机组人员有

和SCA5一样重要，纽约民主党市长要改变重点高中录取方式。
纽约市内有八所重点公立高中，是单凭考分录取的，一般一半以上录取通知书都发给了
亚裔。由于不少白人孩子录取后会选择私立高中，所以这些学校里华人学生的比例能到
六成。对于这种录取方式，和加大录取一样，西语后裔和非洲后裔一直在抱怨他们的孩
子录取比例太低。和加州州长两次否决SCA5类似法案一样，纽约的布隆伯格市长也一直
顶着不肯改变学校录取方式。现在民主党的新任市长明确提出要改变考分录取，只要纽
约州议会同意，“考分录取”就会改成“多元化录取”。
和加州不一样的地方，就是纽约现在这几所重点高中的华裔学生主要是新移民贫困或者
中下层家庭的孩子，如果失去了这些学校的名额，他们就只能在低水平的纽约城普通高

working-class white support. It is one prejudice gentry liberals and gentry
