记录 Oceanfront, Virginia Beach.
2006年6月上旬，承朋友的悉心安排，我们家人在Oceanfront的一套timeshare高层上渡
过了一周，留下难忘的记忆。记录一下，表示对友人夫妇的衷心感谢。文笔太差，看图
说话吧。
1. Virginia Beach的Oceanfront有3 miles 长(4.8 km)的 boardwalk。在这个活动区
域，经常有户外运动，音乐会，展览，餐饮活动。在我们渡过的一周内，就有女子足球
赛，露天拉丁文舞会，艺术品展览三个活动，而且时间都合理地错开了，有张有驰。从
网络上借图一张，鸟瞰Oceanfront.
2. Oceanfront大部分是Timeshare的buildings。房间的阳台全部面向大西洋。从阳台
可以俯瞰整个海滩，下面的人群和活动都尽收眼底。没有好戏的时候，老爸坐在阳台上
读书。
3. 夜晚大西洋的海浪拍打沙滩，声音甚是低沉有力，海风很有劲。在暗夜中，星星点

的样子，不知道是不是要考虑的。但是cohasset harbor那边好美，房子都好高大上，
即使是oceanfront的房子也都是很大的地，完全不是cape cod那边那种很密集的
oceanfront cottage的感觉 |

1. bucktail在长岛贼好用，出了长岛往往就大打折扣。我第一次去IRI夜钓也是用
bucktail，基本没戏。
2. 你的目标鱼是什么？钓striper或blue，这个季节不对。现在只有小blue和shad。
3. 你钓的是oceanfront还是停车场到大桥那段的inlet？ inlet那是很特殊的钓法。

罗格斯大学在读计算机博士刘伟宁于9月23日在新州Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park不幸溺水身亡，留下父母双亲、妻子和5岁的儿子。当地华人社区伸出援手，帮助其家人度过难关。

新州气象局位于Mount Holly的办事处曾发布周末天气预警，在新泽西和特拉华附近海域会出现全天高达6英尺的海浪。根据警方的说法，在当地的长枝（Long Branch）警署和消防局救援队赶到之前，一名在这一区域的冲浪者率先从水中救起刘伟宁。随后刘伟宁被送往蒙茅斯医疗中心，宣告不治身亡。
9月23日－24日的那个周末泽西海滩风高浪险，除了刘伟宁外还有至少2人溺水身亡，150多人被救出。
刘伟宁2016年从罗格斯大学计算机系获得全额奬学金，携妻一起成为F1在读博士。夫妻二人均来自中国黑龙江省佳木斯市。

不用担心海风的问题。真是oceanfront的房子是非常非常抢手的啊！ |

property基本很多就这样的lot了，不觉得有很大问题；如果周围其他房子的lot都比较
大的话，这个就会有点resale的问题，但是什么都是跟价格相关的，如果价格好，还是
可以考虑的 |

sandy完後都那樣了，開春那oceanfront的房子還搶的跟白菜似的。當然靠山，靠大湖
也同理了！老中未必appreciate，但是你買了這類房子一般resale的時候還是要比沒有
view的房子好賣，叫價可以高不少！！ |

那边很多oceanfront的房子，而且又是open ocean，不是bay view的那种，很多人直接
在家门口的海里一刷竿子就能钓巨大的flounder了。 |

Palmetto Shores Oceanfront resorts. Anyone has experience with this place?
They are renovating the hotel right now.
Also we plan to stay either 4 or 5 nights there. If we stay 5 nights, we
have 4 full days in Myrtle beach. Is that too much or just right for a
family with two kids (6 and 11)? Any activity suggestions?

时间是8月底9月初。到那会儿还能玩嘛，可下水不？价格MS还挺便宜的吗。
Each oceanfront condo features a separate bedroom, living room, full kitchen
and free high-speed Internet access。正是我们想要的，可以自己做饭。不想做了
也可以出去吃。
TRIPADVISOR上面是MYRTLE BEACH上面50几个HOTEL的排名第五。 |

发帖数: 71 | 49 要下水的话还是不行的，但走走看看就感觉温度非常适宜了。有好多national
seashore，可以kayak，看看灯塔啥的。没有什么高建筑。可以找个oceanfront的hotel
或者租房，房间里面就可以看到海景，出门就在沙滩上walk，价格也不贵的。现在应该
还是淡季。 |
