PhD的老板很nice,跟那边的老板商量后，提出可以在这边帮办Ｈ１然后transfer
这周一H1B生效，于是周三发信去给那边要求开始Ｈ１Ｂ申请
这边的funding能支持我到９月第一周结束，按照计划，那边的工作应该从９月７号开始
结果那边系里的Academic Personnel Specialist说application take several months
我问她是不是只要有receipt notice就可以了，她说是的

气费（$5）和
汽油了。其他地方我不知道，但是从LA的海滩游出去200-300feet, 我都看到了很多非

发帖数: 43926 | 25 简单的几何建模我用openscad，用来做个小工具非常简单。如果使用者有编程序的基础
的话，我认为比图形操作的CAD软件还好用些。
复杂的模型要看原始模型从哪里来的，需要多少编辑，这个方面比较复杂。不过
thingiverse里有很多人就已经搞好的模型，可以直接打。也可以在openscad里导入STL
，简单编辑一下，或者在meshlab里搞搞，再打印。
生成打印命令的软件我用slicer3，我比较过其他软件，结论是slicer3仍旧是功能最全
面的，给用户最多控制项目的。
控制打印机的软件我用prontface，这个软件通过usb连接到打印机。另外我还用octo
pi，这个是装在raspberrypi里，允许用户通过网络上传Gcode文件，远程监控打印（有
视频监控和抓图功能，可以生成打印过程的timelapse），非常方便 （它也带一个相当
于slicer3的软件，不过不如slicer3）。
现在我主要用slicer3+octopi。 |
