里程数目前100K多一点，
刚刚换过刹车，去年底换了四个轮胎。
主要是carfax记录上有2个事故，1999和2000年有两个撞车事故，但似乎从salvage上看
，没有大事故。今天去试驾了，刹车还不错，老爷车的感觉，车的内饰一般，前镜起雾.
打开前盖，感觉电瓶是换过的，似乎有个用于发动机通风的管子也是换过的吧，我不懂，
第二个owner买了一年，之前有mechanich修过卖给她的。她都不知道之前出过事故。
大家给给意见，我就是用一年，明年还想卖掉。

odometers were racking up miles too fast. The automaker says odometers on
some 6 million Hondas affected by the suit were accurate to within 3.75% on
the high side.
The lawsuit also prompted lawyers to test the odometer accuracy of other

个odometer rollback是怎么回事？是自己改的还是其他什么原因？
odometer fraud很敏感，这种车新人不懂看个外观买了去后患无穷。lz看到有问题就给
大家指出来实在是件大好事，这边的人我也见过不少，自顾自看到你前面有坑也不说的
人太多，就是缺lz这样正直敢说的人。
ps，州里法律写明的，any person who tampers with the odometer of a vehicle
shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. A second or subsequent violation
shall be guilty of a Class 4 felony.
IL举报一个odometer fraud好像是有1500刀reward的，如果这个VIN确实是原帖lz的，
咱们都是同胞也不会为难你；如果不是，那我就直接去DMV举报这个VIN，说不定真拿到

Huh? Didn't you have to look at the main odometer to know that the starting
mileage on the contract was correct? And you didn't bother to look at the
main odometer again when you were returning the car and disputing with them?
So on the main odometer:
ending mileage - starting mileage = the mileage you drove
Get all your gas receipts together and call customer service. I had one
dispute like this with Avis and they acknowledged that the starting mileage

这样，本来3000mile换油，他2500就换了，
额外废掉了汽油。
还有轮胎等，都是早换的，从客观上也减少了出事的概率。

所有材料都准备齐全去了DMV面对面的办完所有手续，包括银行的证明，
还有DMV当时让我额外做的一个odometer verification，当然SMOG就不用
说了。办理完，DMV说，all set，回家等吧。。。
这一等就是半年啊。。。
之间打了十数个电话去问进度（因为同时买的另一个二手车早拿到title）。
经常就是扔个电话号码给我，也不说明一下（问也没用），好像是DMV不同
部门的电话，现在我手上攒了快两位数的DMV电话号码了。。。
开始说手续齐全，只是处理Odometer的部门还没处理到（据说pending了大量
case，好几个月的）。后来某次突然又说我没有银行的文件。。。我日。。。
然后最近又改口说没做Odometer check，要求我再联系某人预约check这个，
给我又一个电话，结果这个电话我打了三天了，一直是电话留言，留言以后
从没回音。。。
可怜半年过去，上家的registration马上要到期了。。。之前网上见过因为
这个被cop抓住说registration过期罚款的。。。

车坏了外地
不想修就就地卖了
因为第一次卖车
车坏在外地弄的自己晕头转向的
所以卖的时候就卖出问题了
只想着签个协议
结果title就没仔细看
title上就签了自己名字（也没签ODOMETER READING数，也没签日期），甚至也没要求
买方签就把title给他了
现在手里只有一个协议，倒是签了双方的名字，ODOMETER啥的，不过也没看他驾照，不
知道签名是不是真的啊
而且因为是周末
所有的东西都是我俩签的，也没去银行找NOTARY（去了肯定也不会出这问题啊）
回来没事看了看原来留的title复印件，要求是转让的时候一定要签ODOMETER啥的
我这咋办啊 |

，即使160mile可能是tripmeter，但是也不应该少于50mile的odometer的。
我现在唯一的怀疑是不是１６０mile是邮箱加油前可以开的里程，但是我很清楚的记得
试车的时候邮箱是满的，满箱的油应该至少能开300mile以上的。
如果dealer真的改了里程，他是出于什么目的啊？这车还能买吗？ |

发帖数: 188 | 33 我也说个诡异的。我的车（04VW）08年11月买的，当时odometer显示是44,xxx迈，
clean carfax history，车况也很好。后来不经意间差autocheck，居然显示Possible
Odometer Rollback/Rollover，原因是 07/01/2008时milage是41,945，而 11/20/2008
时 milage是124,699， 但我去DMV换title时milage是44,283，所以它说我有rollback
。但是问题有两点：1，我就是11月20号去dealer那里定的车，当时的milage也就是44
，xxx；2，如果按照autocheck的数据，就意味着这车在08年7月至12月之间一共跑了82
,724mi，平均每天622mi不间断的跑4个月……
我现在都懒得找autocheck质疑这个情况了。。 |

在每一块，需要填写的信息有：Purchaser 的information, odometer reading,
dealer's name, agent's signature, buyer/agent's signature.
我觉得你说的应该签字的地方在正面，assignment of title里，这里面需要填写的信
息是： buyer's information, odometer reading, signature of seller, printed
name of seller, signature of buyer, printed name of buyer, date of sale.

他说一手车主把它卖给这个dealer,dealer在卖。这有点奇怪，因为这次转手尚未出现
在history里。也许是最近发生的。
