first their last D man lost the puck in their
zone with goalie pulled out, the star didn't even score with the empty net
without nobody around him. how could he miss it?
then horcoff skated almost full field to score a goal with 12 sec left.
the empty net goal stars missed must be the easiest goal that was missed

Edmonton，绝对不会了解这个城市曾经有一支王朝般的球队。北美体育权威统计中，
NHL的最近一个Dynasty就是1984-1990的Edmonton Oilers（7年5夺Stanley Cup）。当
然，我对之前的历史主要是通过wiki知道的。没有亲身经历，所以也无法讲述。但是我
亲身感受了Oilers在沉沦前的最后一丝辉煌，直到现在我都经常能回忆起来。
刚来这个城市的时候，恰好碰到一个暴喜欢冰球的邻居，此人自称老移民，据他本人讲
是84年就到这个冰天雪地的地方了，当时就赶上的Gretzky时代。长话短说，来了几天
之后Oilers从Blues换来了Chris Pronger，新闻上一播，邻居跟我聊天的时候就说今年
Oilers肯定发达了（后来我才就知道这人相当牛），然后就跟我说，一定得看冰球，跟
我说Oilers有了Pronger, 再加上Ryan Smith（其实他一直到06-07才入选过一次全明星

defense的创始人。
他有一个理论：也是个nfl现在人人都懂的道理：if you take other team's best
player out, your chance of winning will increase tremendously. buddy ryan当
时在locker room里每次自己的def 把对手knock out，都会时不时的给球员一些言语上
的鼓励，有时会有一些小奖品，比如一顶球帽啊之类的东西。。。
buddy身性暴躁，脾气火爆，后来去了恶狗当hc, 给fire以后好像是92年去了titans的
前身oilers当dc,oilers防守脱胎换骨，11连胜进playoff.（这里有个插曲，buddy
ryan在oilers季后赛对某个对，好像是chiefs 那场对自己的offense狠不满，和oc，现

The Edmonton Oilers traded Ryan Smyth to the New York Islanders in what has
to be the most surprising move of the day. This was not only a clear signal
that the Oilers have given up on this season but that they are once again
going through another (maybe minor) rebuilding phase.

goalie. he allowed a PP goal in 1st period which is ok considering oilers
outshot avs 13:6 or sth like that. Things turned ugly when Oilers got
two goals out of face-offs and one goal in between which is a double-
deflection after Abby replaced Sauve. Down 4:0 going into 3rd period,
Avs don't have any momentum to make a comeback. Oilers outshot Avs 30:15
and they might have 10 more scoring chances than the Avs. It's easily

不少次。Wade就是给他父亲打下手在oiler出道的。
去年队伍跌到6-10，老板请来老Bum给出主意，实际就是给教练组量刑，最后根据各方
面建议留用了Kubiak，踢掉了防守教练，换上Wade
赛季初对Steeler那场，上半场的大好形势下半场一开就丧失殆尽，第四节开始Kubiak

Browns搬到巴尔的摩变Ravens，过几年Browns和Earthquakes都原地复活，因而搬走的
球队没有继承老球队的历史，但带走了人力资源——老的Earthquakes 01和03年都是冠
军。
Houston Oiler就不同了，当时大家认为Houston再有橄榄球队得猴年马月，Titans继承
了Oiler的全部历史、退役球衣等等，又是纪事报记者的话：在Titans的队史展览馆仿
佛走进前妻再婚的家中，心中一万个不爽。
Texans建立时是用扩张选秀一兵一卒从零凑起，扩张选秀的头号人选还因伤一场没打，
最后一个离队的创队元老是从钢人来的Kicker叫Kris Brown的，坚持了八年到2010赛季
之前——现在Andre Johnson是在队时间最长的。
凑起这么一帮人很不容易，而机会窗口也是稍纵即逝：苦B教练现在拿Foster当牲口使

Grant Fuhr, Paul Coffey, Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Glenn Anderson
外加教练John Muckler基本上就是一套完整的阵容了，从进攻到防守到守门员
和教练全齐了。
可见oilers当年的辉煌历史呀。 |

发帖数: 1395 | 29 看电视里提到一个oilers的老队员Randy Gregg，上网做了做research发现
他是一个传奇的人。
他是edmonton本地人，他不仅是个冰球队员，而且很聪明，他16岁就进入
university of alberta学习医。而且很长一段时间没有放弃其中的任何一
个。为了学习与冰球兼顾他加盟了u of a的golden bears，成为队里的中
坚，率队取得过两次university cup冠军，还获得过intercollegiate
player of the year。
后来他还打过加拿大国家队，而且国家队的教练之一就是u of a的传奇教练
clare drake。他还去日本做过两年的业余冰球教练。
此后他加盟了oilers，成为gretzky的队友，夺得过stanley cup。在打球期
间他始终没有放弃学业。
92年他最后一次付出在vancouver打了21场球后退役。退役后他回到edmonton
完成了他的intership，现在他留在edmonton当大夫。 |

than nucks at season start.
it's true they lost pronger and peca, but nucks lost jovo and bertuzzi,
and almost the entire defense was rebuilt.
the GM of oilers should definitely be fired, what a bunch of wusses. |

工资

3. 纽约隧道工程操作同样的机器，做类似量的工作，
需要的人手是亚洲澳洲欧洲（法国等）国家3-4倍
4. 挖隧道工人时薪＋福利每小时111元，周末节假日时薪翻倍，超时再翻倍到 400／
