车和二手车。相对应的美国学生群体购买的汽车总价值为47亿美元。
大约三年前，美国艾奥瓦大学的中国留学生开始到艾奥瓦城的Carousel Motors汽车销
售店，给自己的奔驰和奥迪豪华车做保养。后来，总经理帕特·林德(Pat Lind)问，他
们最初买车的时候是否考虑过到他店里来买。学生们说没有。在中国还没来上学以前，
就有人告诉他们，要到芝加哥买车。
因此，林德开始赞助这所大学的中国留学生联合会的活动，该组织在留学生来美之前就
为他们提供各种信息。此后，中国学生的汽车购买量增加了一倍，现在已经占到这家经
销商汽车总销量的5%左右。这家店的位置距校园约有3公里。“我们开始做广告。”林

尼(Lamborghinis)和宾利(Bentleys)豪华跑车。更令人吃惊的是，开车的竟然都是20岁
左右的中国留学生。
据密歇根州Mlive网站报道，一般情况下，因为学生囊中羞涩，大学校园里最常见的汽
车是那种廉价的古董车，身价达到15万-20万的轿跑从未出现过。直到最近，这一情况
发生转变。
随着中国富二代留学生的涌入，豪华汽车满校园里疾驰的现象在全美很多高校都能看到
。此种趋势给密歇根州立大学的亚洲学生带来了一些负面印象，了解这些学生的人认为
这不公平。
过去几年来，密歇根大学的中国留学生人数呈井喷式增长。2003年，该校中国留学生尚

days. Major snow storm on Fri+ Sat, a little on Sun around south VT and
Berkshire area. So we may decide to go Southern VT and Berkshire as our
destination which is much closer to our XDJM from NJ and CT.

，叫Waverly Park。比East Lansing，甚至okemos(有人推荐那个区）便宜很多。我开
车，无交通问题，就是不知道这些地点的治安相差多少，天上地下还是也差不多？有了
解的给说下？

Okemos比Lansing和east lansing都安全，
这里的房租已经狠便宜了，不要为了省房租去住不安全的地方。 |

apartment比较少，估计家里有上学的孩子的，才会考虑这边吧。你住这里没必要。
lansing那边我不太知道，但是比较穷，治安肯定差点儿，我要是你，不会去住的
