华盛顿 — 中国共产党官方报纸人民日报提出“琉球主权未定论”后，日本媒体称找到
了当年中国外交文件，其中提到毛泽东认为冲绳“当然要还给日本”，还代表中国人民
“全心支持”冲绳归还给日本的“返还行动”。
日本时事通讯社5月9号的报道援引1964年的中国外交文件说，当年美国要将冲绳主权交
出时，毛泽东告诉当时的外交部副部长，冲绳“当然要还给日本”，并且将此以电报发
给中国驻外大使馆。时事通讯社从中国外交部史料馆收藏的外交电报原文中找到这个信
息。
这则于1964年7月28号发出的电报，标题为“毛主席的谈话：苏联与其他国家的固有领
土”。电报当中提及，毛泽东与日本的日中友好关系官员会晤时，认同冲绳是“日本的
领土”，而对于当年冲绳人民发起要求美国将主权交给日本的“冲绳返还运动”，毛泽
