周五7月18日被request sponsor views了。
我查了很多网帖，还是有些疑问。我不是NIH的博后，为啥会被要求这个呢？
我的2019表上写的program sponsor是university of *****, 他们发了这个request是
被发到我们这个大学么？还是发到grant的来源。我用的funding是老板申请的ONR(
office of navy research) grant.

发帖数: 55 | 23 连国内青年教师比美国AP学术水平高都出来了。我就告诉你啥是国内一流学校的青年教师，一部分是国内二三流大学4年苦读政治数学考研考上来的，学术僵化的一塌糊涂，也就会跟着别人后面做点东西，没水平，没前途。还有一部分是当年同学当中学习最差的那批，导师眼看着聪明的学生都出国了，只好拿些搓的来垫垫背，差是差了些，凑或者用吧，过个十几年，混个博士，然后也堂而皇之的青椒了，跟着一些老教授做了点东西，其实水平也就那样。对了，有些人再跑出来旅游个几个月年把的，回去还有一个别名，叫访问学者。
然后就是国内“认识”好几个都来美国做教授了，
然后就是美国这边去国内post doc都坐不下去了。。
靠，干啥不直接说中国天下第一，把你美国早甩几条街算了？
干脆直接说国内学术水平一级榜，每年NSF,ONR,NIH的career award都给国内土鳖？
干脆直接说美国人大学一毕业就迫不及待要考中国托佛GRE乐？
这赤裸裸的穿越阿。几千年后穿越来的？还是几千年前穿越的？

course, DOE and DOE need relationships, which most of us probably do not
have. Also, the research directions of most of us are probably not fitted to
what DOD and DOE really need.
NSF CAREER ~20% funded rate.
For example,
ONR YIP <8%
DOE YIP <5%
Maybe Air Force or Army YIP ratio is slightly higher, which I do not know.
For Packard and McAuthor, you need to be really really good to get it. |
