称UCB）任教，已于本月停止了本科的哲学课程，但保留荣誉职称。
去年，学校为希尔勒成立了社会本体论研究中心（the John Searle Center for
Social Ontology），这是美国第一个相关的研究中心。
Ong于2014毕业于UCB，是希尔勒的学生，毕业后在中心主任Jennifer Hudin引荐下，于
去年7月成为希尔勒的助理。

The reason to use string is to facilitate full text search.
The reason not to use objects is because in an open and dynamic world,
you don't want users to define a new object for every new sickness.
If you have a rich set of sickness, you can manage them with a declarative vocabulary set, which can be maintained by an open classifier (e.g. a crawler) and an computational ontology.

买买提貌似有点抽风。。
我也是最近题目做多了，才有些许感觉，觉得其实都是些挺有用的东西。
比如我做过一些自然语言处理的东西，wordnet，sentence parsing中都有用到tree结
构。find the first common ancestor在wordnet中就是找到两个同义词的hypernym。
或者在KDD中，对ontology建模也能用到类似算法。
P.S.在下初来乍到，孤陋寡闻，不懂习惯，所以最后两句没听懂。

，翻译过来就完全丧失了。比方说西方哲学最关注的存在论，ontology。onto的希腊词
根就是being，logy就是学。联系起来就是关于“存在的学问”。在这里，也就可以看到笛
卡尔的著名格言，“je pense donc je suis，I think therefore I am，cogito ergo sum”﹣
我思故我在－的根源是什么。法语的suis是etre的变形，am是be的变形。最终都是being
的学问。只不过笛卡尔的理性主义哲学把“我思”作为“我在”的先在的，条件性的一种存在。
萨特在「存在l'etre与虚无」里提到先于我思的存在又是将笛卡尔的存在论反过来，变成
了“在﹣我思－我在”的结构了。
由此可见西方思想的传承。 |
