里面根本找不到停车位。就开进了路对面的一个business plaza的parking lot. 刚停
下，一个肥白男就跑过来， 满口脏话，说不许趴这里， 然后拿相机在车前后拍照。
我开出去了，停到open house 门口路上。 那个肥白男还追过来拍照。 我后面一个来
看open house 的中国couple停在那车就被拖走了。之后还有一个亚裔老头过来， 刚停
下，那个白垃圾就过来拍照， 根本不给warning. 这个plaza看起来没有什么business,
只有一家tax 公司营业。 估计他们就靠这个挣钱。

合法的拥枪者往往很低调。

concealed carry。
没有什么放之四海而皆准的措施，各种不同的场合就有不同的特点。不是所有地方都适
合带枪。
作为一个拥枪者，我并不支持不分场合的带枪。但是如果某些禁枪措施只禁好人的枪却
不管坏人的枪，那就不合适了。open carry这事情比较好办，因为一目了然。比如说，
costco贴个标志说我这里不许带枪，但是标志并无法律效力，你open carry进去，并不
违法，但是open，别人就能看见，店员可以宣布你是不受欢迎的顾客把你赶走，你也不
能赖在那里。可是如果是conceal就不好办了，老实人一看牌子禁枪，就不带枪，坏人
熟视无睹照样带枪。如果贴了3006标志，即使有持枪证也不能带枪，否则是犯罪，但是
罪犯照样熟视无睹。
我个人认为，如果不能辨认带枪不带枪，那么gun free zoon就是鼓励犯罪的地方。很
多大屠杀都发生在不能合法持枪的gun free zone就很能说明问题。

先提个问题：Xiyu open目的是服务于全人类还是MIT羽版？或者说，我们想把它办成US
OPEN式的比赛还是羽版的比赛？
对本地选手说，这区别可能不太大，不过对外地选手说，这就截然不同了。很显然，如
果XIYU OPEN成为US OPEN，外地同学如PATPAT等来参赛的可能几乎为0。外地同学来参
赛的主要原因是因为这是个羽版的比赛。
当然，经费问题也是组织者一大难处，可能只能提价了。。。
所以我比较同意CALLMELEON和PATPAT等人的看法，限制参赛资格。
至于如何限制参赛资格，也不算太难吧：
1，参赛人员应该是羽毛球版灌水潜水的id。
2，会中文。
3，参加比赛期间的腐败活动。
具体细节可由组织者掌握，赫赫，有劳组织者们了。

前传
怎么说好呢？
我应该算是唯一一个连续三年都参加了细雨open的同时又是距离最远的外地id了吧，见证
了xiyu open三年的发展。
其实今年本来不打算参加的，因为之前状态不太好，身体也多病，加上7月份是忙得不
可开交，也有点担心xiyu open会朝着去年的那种模式发展下去而丧失了对外地id的吸
引力。所以为啥nkmm, liuyuan, justin他们定了行程之后我还迟迟没有买机票，最后
导致cabo/cabobo夫妇分开接送了我们好几回，真的实在不好意思。
毛车来打boston open，也算是我决定第三次来西羽打比赛的主要动力之一，毛车同志
虽然网上有时候比较雷人甚至变态，但是人真是很好，我和nkmm都被他感动啦。然后看
他非常尽心尽力把一个比赛办好，也非常尽心尽力在网上陪大家搞气氛，不为了啥，就
是为了大家网友高高兴兴有这么一个非常难忘的活动。自己却那么辛苦。牺牲自己给大
家带来欢乐，我们都要向毛车同志致敬。三鞠躬，一，二，三。。。
那么决定来打比赛之后呢，我就开始努力训练了，每天都去跑步，跑一个多小时，然后

1。从比赛成绩看,这次OPEN水平远远超越了C/D level。
特别是男双，两场A组半决赛，绝对可以和BAY AREA OPEN媲美。其余男单，女单，混
双，女双A的角逐，也都达到BA OPEN B的水平。
2。比赛的一大特色，来自BBS的ID占了一半。
除了众多细雨选手，还有不少LOCAL非xiyu ID,如cdma,cengceng（可惜偶没对上号）,
三位南加的，和三位外地ID－－美女littlecruise，美女板斧cathleen,前板斧blook。
非常感谢！！三位外地的最后都拿到D组第三的牌牌!blook MD第一场１：２输给C
亚军，第三场输给D冠军，都非常可惜！两位南加的也差点拿到XD D-con,和对
手苦斗三局，打得小弟弟小妹妹都黑脸了，差点没肯要那块铜牌，呵呵。
3。西羽选手的成绩基本正常。

据称HK Lee原来是马来西亚二队的，看着没希望打出来，就放弃了。
另外我对楼上说鲍春来boston open进不了四强不敢苟同，呵呵，鲍是自己不
想打了，否则以他的年纪，练个一个礼拜，boston open轻松全灭吧。
而且用鲍春来上次的那个表演性质的比赛来说事，太不专业了。
boston open的决赛选手即使参加低级别的us open都要打qualifier，正赛能打过第一轮
就算成功，考虑到业余打球的人数和水平，我觉得讲中国的业余顶级和美国的各类杂牌
专业（比如游大侠前面提到的非洲专业）从某种意义上水平相当。
有马来西亚或者印尼背景的专业自当别论。 |

If you have 4-4. 4-3, or 3-3 minors, which one do you open?
My philosophy is on 1st and 2nd seat, shape is more
important; in 3rd and 4th seat. it's more lead directing.
So 1st and 2nd seat 1D tends to imply 4-card suit, unless
it's 4-4-3-2. I do all sorts of things on 3rd seat and
partner is not expected to hang me.
As an example, if I hold D10xxx CAQx, opening strength, then
I open 1D on 1st and 2nd seat, and 1C on 3rd and 4th seat.

Wwoofing的闲暇，我在岛上最想做的事情就是潜水。没有比在大岛拿到自己的advanced
open water更完美的了。相比学校里的150块这里的450块显然贵了许多，但80F的水温
和60F的水温，能见度和生物多样性自然也没法相提并论。出于事业状态的我回国前一
直有把钱花光了丛零开始的想法，一咬牙就订了。
Big Island Divers是大岛乃至整个HI最权威的潜水俱乐部，设备完善，人员专业友善
，google上不少人推荐。
PADI advanced open water 要求参与者必须持有basic open water certificate或者
相当等级认证书，整个课程由五次dive构成，其中深潜（deep dive）和 导航 （
navagation）是“必修”，其他三个可以从15种中自选，其中以night dive最为有趣。

1. 单反击球前少跑一点，击球后回位动作多一点（跟双反比）。
2. open stance双反伤腰，但回位动作少，所以快。
3. closed stance双反保护腰，回位动作比open多，慢一点。

neutral stance 是linear power, open stance 是 rotational power. 不同情况下用
法也不通。 为什么说坑爹呢？
关于 positioning, in general, 我会这么定， 底线后 open stance, 底线和no man'
s land close stance, service line 附近， whatever is comfortable, further
inside the service line open stance (at this point, it's more of swing as
you run through the ball, reason it's open stance is because you are
