偶就去了sea world，住在international dr
nnd。。那个ming court名不副实。全是给米国人吃的改良垃圾。
门面倒是很不错。。。价钱倒是不含糊

可以,不过只能看中文小菜谱,还要避免点川菜(前面有人说嘉麟阁川菜
做的好,以我六年成都生活经验,实在没看出来).利口福还是不错的,但
是老吃它的面条和烤鸭也就不行了.
回来就赶去了林园, 经历了头2天的失败, 这次我

洋墨水的合伙人又JJYY说Oriental在好些国家算歧视性的叫法，又用了East。插秧能手
富了之后到处跑得多了，没嚼的Oriental还有歧意，而且钱多了底气也足了，嚼的反正

我们楼面来的REGISTRY必须有5年以上ICU工作经验的，来了之后也有72小时
orientation的。没有ICU工作经验的护士招进来至少16周orientation，我们新毕业的
进来一律22周orientation.
真的无法想象没有经验的护士来能干什么，光是各种设备估计就傻眼了，VAD、CVVH，
balloon pump、hypothermia之类的东西都不是随随便便就上手的，况且ICU的protocol
那么多，要熟悉起来不容易。ICU病人不稳定的多，护士的责任很大，没经验的话还是
不安全，出了事，心情不好是小，丢了执照就惨了。 |

情况是这样的：
国内学的护理专业，毕业后在国内一家医院的医技科室悠闲地工作了将近10年。那时候
怎么也没想到过要来美国。命运就是在一瞬间转变的。我遇到了在国内度假的现在的老
公，于是我的生活从此改变。09年结婚后，2010年1月移民来的美国。自己相对还算独
立，来美国后想继续工作，所以借着国内的护理教育背景在去年8月考过了美国RN（注
册护士）执照、找到了工作，自己曾暗自庆幸，甚至觉得没有传说中异国他乡生存的艰
难不易。
上班之后才发现，生活是没有捷径的，所有异国生活需要走的路、经历的艰辛是无法避
免的。第一份工作很容易找到一家私立医院的CVOR（心脏手术室），那时觉得一切是
too perfect to be true,但工作1个月后，招我进来的manager就走了，加上自己是唯
一的外国人，而且语言确实有问题，心里真的很发虚，有一种深更半夜独自在荒郊野外
走地感觉，很不舒服，就quit掉了。
我对自己的语言能力真的很不自信，因为我从来就不会把一个完整的故事绘声绘色的讲

SAN JOSE, CA (KGO) -- San Jose Evergreen Community College is under fire
tonight by a group that defends academic freedom --- after the college fired
a teacher because of a class discussion on sexual orientation.
This was a summer class offered at San Jose City College. There was a debate
about sexual orientation, and now apparently the teacher made some remarks
that really offended a student. |
