[2] Sending kids to Chicago public schools is an option. The advantage is
that those kids will have a chance to get in magnet schools (the name was
changed).

睡了一觉醒来, 天已经转暗, 不好, 球赛已经开始了.
赶紧打开电视, 今儿orioles对的是white sox. 上一
场orioles赢了明尼苏打, 这场他们要争取本赛季第一次
back-to-back win.
定睛一看, 俺就傻了. white sox 已经 3:0 领先了
还好是第一局, 俺想, 慢慢能赶上的, 但是orioles还是
跟前几场一样, first pitch swing, pop up, 好不容易
上了垒, 也因为三人出局还一直没得分, white sox 则又
得了一分. 数次俺都要狠狠心关电视, 上BBS来逛了.
就在俺手指头在遥控器上犹豫不决的时候, 赛季初orioles
从KC royal搞来的一垒手Connie第四局开局打出了个solo
homerun. 4 : 1.

不过美东最近orioles, yankee, rays竞争蛮激烈, orioles有望时隔15年重返季后赛.
而且有意思的是, 现在nationals的manager就是orioles上次在96/97打入季后赛时候
的manager.

the real reason, i suspect, is the owner of Orioles doesn't want to
acknowledge that Orioles is second to the Ravens in the city of Baltimore,
so is the case between MLB and NFL. they are holding their ground firm. they
are protecting MLB, by screwing up fans in the city of Baltimore.
that's why if i live in Baltimore, i would boycott the game, just to give
the finger back to the Orioles owner and MLB commissioner.

admission.

Very, very safe. You may look that park using google satellite view. 95+%
are houses. Also, many Chicago cops and firemen live in that park. (As you
know, Chicago cops and firemen have to live in Chicago. They live in safe
parks, and those parks become safer after they live there. )
before 7 am, about half hour from Oriole Park to 西北医院.
Those are Chicago magnet schools (the name was changed. "old comers still
call it magnet). One chance every year. If you move here now, you may not

灭了你们。
我这是第三次看棒球，实在不喜欢。观众来来回回买东西、叫唤什么的都快赶上球员的
运动量了 :) 只是在看热闹得层次。今天是 Orioles 迎战 Tampa Bay。最后到 14th
inning 才赢。Orioles 里先上场的投手是台湾来的。好多球迷穿他的球衣，正面的队
名和后面他的名字都是中文。
其实温度还好，户外运动时常比这热，但没防晒是一大失误，就没人想起来。有的人皮
肤反应明显，有人“没事”，但其实伤害都是挺大的。 |

签Brown的钱用来签Pedro, Dodges今年恐怕就
playoff了吧。而且还能剩下一笔备不住降低点

今年少blow二十多次save, Orioles也playoff了。

Under his management, three teams won WS. He also led a Mariner's team to
the winningest season ever.
He left Blue Jays about 20 years ago. And Jays never reached postseason.
He left Orioles about 15 years ago. Orioles did not reach postseason until
last year.
He left M's about 10 years ago. M's have yet to reach playoffs.
He left Philies about 5 years ago. Phillies have been going downhill ever
since.
