Orleans, Luke Z. Tang ’18 had a message for his classmates.
“There are no bad people in this world, only complex ones,” Tang said. “

发帖数: 703 | 33 后来几次去New Orleans, 就是给自己开车去了. 记得第一次自己开车去,特地给司机师傅
找了双厚鞋底的鞋子穿. 车不好, 鞋重, 搁在油门上可以省点力气, 免得踩油门踩到腿抽
筋. 自己有车开到东方店里就狂买吃的. 进New Orleans 的时候车是两个前轮比较瘪, 出
New Orleans 的时候瘪的就是后轮了. 还特地带个IGLOO去买螃蟹和虾, 那时去一趟New
Orleans, 中国邻居上上下下都要打一趟招呼, 谁来都要买个好几家的螃蟹带回去. 多买
也有好处, 那就是可以杀价, 本来就不贵的螃蟹就更便宜了.
进入New Orleans 市区有个公路桥. 桥旁边有个巨大的牌子”NO International Airport
” 刚经过那里还纳闷呢, 心想没机场就没机场吧, 树这么大个牌子干吗. 后来恍然大悟
NO 是New Orleans 的缩写, 依此类推编造了好多其它东西, 嘲笑了好久. 以后每次开车
经过这个”NO International Airport” 的指示牌, 也就知道离FRENCH QUARTER不远了. |

年，经常开车去NEW ORLEANS玩，我问他：“How do you think about New Orleans?”
他放下了手里的刀叉，说：“it is a city hard to describe. If you are single
and yong, there is your heaven...........”
昨天晚上在好莱坞碗，一瓶红酒见底，听到歌手说：“20 years ago, I fell in love
with a city--New Orleans, Louisiana........” 那一刻，我的心，活着酒精，高
高地飞上了广袤的夜空，随着山坳里回荡的爵士乐，回到了南部那个密西西比河边的小
城。
我一直想找出一个词语来形容NEW ORLEANS，却一直无从搜寻。你不能说她安宁，逐年
递增的犯罪率让很多人望而却步；你不能说她美丽，破旧的街道和房屋让曾经繁荣的她
如没落的贵族一般唉声叹气；你甚至不能说她干净，街上随处散落的小龙虾壳和空酒瓶
哪怕在暴雨之后仍然散发出难闻 |
