来十年之内家庭年收入在1万元至7万5000元之间的家庭，则会面临增税后果。

由美国首位华裔女众议员赵美心(Judy Chu，D-CA)发起的《排华法案》道歉案，在加州
民主党参议员范斯坦（Diane Feinstein，D-CA）及麻州参议员布朗（Scott Brown，R-
MA）支持下，6日夜里无异议通过美国参议院。目前预计众议院将在明年5月以前通过。
今年5月26日正式提出的《排华法案》道歉案，获得两院及跨党派支持，这是继2009年加
州议会和旧金山议会通过决议案，就“排华法案”向华人道歉后的又一大步，也将美国
历史上通过的对华歧视性法案再次带至国会和公众视野。

白宫周二（5月23日）公布的川普2018年预算显示，未来十年川普政府将会削减很多福
利预算，包括食品券和医疗补助，以力图在十年内平衡联邦预算。白宫认为，这样做是
为了保护纳税人的钱，减少那些变相鼓励人们不去工作的政府福利项目。
避免滋养靠吃福利生活
综合《今日美国》、《华盛顿邮报》的报导，这份数额为4.094万亿美元的联邦预算案
，要求在2018年减少对医疗补助（Medicaid）、食品券等福利项目的支出。
这份预算还包括在10年间削减3.6万亿美元的支出，其中大头是如果白宫废除奥巴马医
保和其它一些改革措施之后从医疗补助计划中削减的8000亿美元，以及从食品券计划中
削减的约1900亿美元。
白宫表明，削减福利的目的实际上是要促使那些有能力工作但又滥用福利的人找工作，
