前两天看了一些贴子，其中有许多有关车和车，日本品牌和美国品牌，欧洲品牌车的争
论和比较。发现其中许多对比和比较很盲目。很多不具有可比价性，比如说Car 和SUV
那个安全。发现很多人同我以前刚来U.S.时一样, 对车的认识大多都停留在表面上。
在选车对比之前，我想大家应该对不同的车有个大概的了解。这也是我写此文的目的。
希望对于刚来美国并准备选车的人，能有所启发和期到拓展视野的作用。首先声明，本
人未在任何和汽车有关的行业工作，仅出于个人爱好。有不完善之处，希望各位参与讨
论并给于补充。
初到北美时，除了对国内的夏利，桑塔那VW, Audi, Toyota，Cherokee等有点印象外（
当然还有BMW， BENZ等，不过没有机会尝试）。对其它种类的车毫无了解。和很多人一
样，别人讲那一种车好， 自己于是就认为它好；别人说那种车不好， 知己也认为它不
好。 后来才发现其实自己对北美的汽车行业和市场完全缺乏认知。第一天走在大街上
， 发现国外的车真是千奇百怪，什么样的都有，你很难找到一模一样的车一前一后同
时开来。

狼兄的意见是正解。话说我刚来美国的时候，也有过同样的问题，后来就爱谁谁了。
后来时间长了，美国电视看了一堆，口语也上去了，就自然不成问题了。我给你举个例
子，有一次我出去开会，电梯里很多同事，我恰好在打电话，结果没信号，这时有一个
人也在打，也没信号，他突然说了句，“CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW？”全电梯都笑了，因
为这是VERZION的广告词。这时候电梯停了，我突然来了句：‘THEN I EXPECT A HUGE
CROWD OUTTHERE。”然后大家就狂笑。事后想想，这是我说的一个很自然的，而且还是
老美理解的笑话。可见只要顺气自然，一切都会水到渠成。

发帖数: 20 | 8 刚看到Hus(BBS)大大的贴子， 感觉到有些话不得不说。也不知道我写的东西是刺激了这位大虾的哪根神经了。实话讲，你所附的英文文章我是第一次看到，不否认有些观点和我一样，这不奇怪，因为有的东西是通用的知识，不论从内涵和外延来讲，这两篇文章都是完全不能比的。写这篇文章的确花了我很多时间准备，做了很多功课，因为不想让我个人的观点来误道别人。我文中所列的车型大部份是从Edmunds上取的，和你付的英文没有一点点关系，（不是说Edmunds好，主要是较全，便于我总结）。坦率地讲，我开过FWD，RWD，AWD，4WD这四种车型,文里很多内容实际上都是我的个人经验和见解。不管这些经验和见解成不成熟，我希望大家以讨论的方式来理解。这也是我写这篇文章的初衷。本想作为新来者，能够给车版做点贡献。没想到被某些人无顾扣了顶大帽。

technically, i agree. this might be a recovery like we had before.
but remember there's a lot of quant funds outthere who agree with you but
they lost a lot of money recently. And these quant funds haven't finished
deleveraging yet.
Fundementally rate cut didn't change anything - at least not yet.

there a heads up re: Boston It's WICKED snowy. I mean frigid cold.
Depressing. If you like to shovel up to six feet of snow (and counting) then
come on by. In the last month we've had four major storms. If you can't
afford to live in a complex with covered parking (and I'm betting most of
you can't because the average 2 bed in this area is $1200 a month) then you'
