Beyond the Indian hamlet, upon a forlorn strand, I happened on a trail of

WHY NOT GIVE CHRISTIANITY A TRIAL?
The question seems a hopeless one after 2000 years of resolute adherence
to the old cry of "Not this man, but Barabbas." Yet it is beginning to
look as if Barabbas was a failure, in spite of his strong right hand,
his victories, his empires, his millions of money, and his moralities
and churches and political constitutions. "This man" has not been a
failure yet; for nobody has ever been sane enough to try his way. But he
has had one quaint triumph. Barabbas has... 阅读全帖

But don’t take this to mean that Simeon pulled any punches when expounding
Biblical texts. He is very forthright in teaching what the Bible teaches and
calling error by its real name. But he is jealous of not getting things out

He said that his invariable rule was “to endeavor to give to every portion

scheme it favours, or whose system it is likely to advance” (Moule, 79).

I went a tad overboard because some people put down everyone else using the
terms like 'the elite of the elite'. Face the reality. Chinese educated in
the US will have much nicer time than BM turned MDs and will have more
respects from the patients. Ask Eric. If some1 has the choice, go for an
MD, DDS, or a PharmD instead.
