if you are lucky enough and likely you would be, the 4820K could
run at voltage lower than default while overclock to 4.3GHZ
4820k is a E on 2011 platform. it is larger comes with metalic thermal paste
under the casing rather than cheap grease like in 4770K.
intel played a quite dirty trick after the 2600K that limit
the OC potential of 22nm chips
if they did the right thing, 4770k should OC much better.

value for you. Also with 90W TDP pretty safe for the stock PSU of 3847 to

然后从web界面重启路由器，就完成了, CPU 1.2GHz, RAM 800MHz(如果已经是1.0.2.0
之后的cfe，ram已经是800MHz)。如果之后断电或者重启了路由器需要重新设定。
oc后我usb3的速度从40MB/s不到提高到了45MB/s左右。cpu温度没什么变化
据说从387.56版本后的f/w会自动降回原来的速度。

I doubt that you could play well with a laptop CPU either. Its cpu usage is
50%-70% with an overclocked 4690k.
But I'm a noob and I don't have a good understanding of this game, above is

I set up a Ryzen desktop yesterday. AsRock X370 mobo + 1700X + 16G DDR4-3200
+ 1500Ti/730GT. It has been working fine. Multi-threading is about 80%
faster than another Intel 6700K desktop.
The only issue is the memory is clocked at 2133 MHz instead of 3200 MHz. To
get the full speed, I need to overclock the CPU. but the current bios refuse
to boot when I OC manually. I will try again after updating the bios. |

take the mobo outside the box, put in everything, and turn it on. if this
works, it must be something got grounded when you put in the box.
also, download the latest bios and do a flash. If does not help, call the
customer service. I called asrock service line for my x370 board for
overclocking. It did not take very long. |

说到机箱Size，感觉现代的要求和以前非常不同了。因为3.5 HDD和光驱逐渐退出舞台
，机箱的体积几乎完全是有散热决定了。散热最大部分来自CPU和显卡，后者占的比重
最大；小部分散热来自电源和内存（现在的内存也开始坑爹了！），但问题不大。如果
在没有极端Overclocking的情况下，MicroATX尺寸的机箱也是够用的，前提条件是放得
下大显卡。所以现在很多Mid-Size Case浪费的地方太多了，至少我自己攒的机器有这
么个感觉。
不明白的是主板商为什么不在主板上预设部分硬盘和内存，譬如主板装上CPU以后，就
可以开机装操作系统了，因为主板自带256GB硬盘和8GB内存。如果想把PC变游戏机，玩
家自己加显卡/声卡/内存/硬盘就是了。但整个机箱要干净整洁得多，无论是品牌机还
是DIY都很方便了。

bios implementation rather than the maximum allowed by the z170 spec. The
bios doesn't support XMP and clock setting but you can try Intel's XTU (
Extreme Tuning Utility) to overclock memory. It used to work with 8700.
However, I doubt you really need that as you have 4 DIMMs in XPS 8910 and it
's usually more reasonable to add memory rather than to replace them unless
