, in this context, is neither significant nor great.
Your advisor was being diplomatic. The fact that he made this remark means
you overdid the appreciation pretty significantly, or greatly. Had you
indeed overdone it slightly, he would not have said anything.
I would also suggest that you do not claim the paper was improved either
significantly or greatly. It is a bit self-flattering. Some of the referees

成心脏负担而引发极度焦虑，随后因乱吃镇定类药引发恐惧症和抑郁），当时的抑郁反
应最先体现的是我忽然发现自己对目前工作的不满。目前的工作不是我本来的学科，以
前一直在说服自己，为了生活必须妥协。以为内心已经接受了，但因药物作用（很难一
下给你说清楚为什么benzo镇定类药会引发这些状况。好奇的话可以google下。这也是
我为什么从此后不建议人们吃药的原因),这种不满突然爆发了出来。当时连续几周，几
乎隔几天就请假。觉得每天起来上班是非常痛苦的事情，觉得撑不下去了。必须承认，
药物让这种不满放大了。但过后我觉得，这种对抗情绪其实一直存在，只不过是压抑很
久，平素不能觉察罢了。
总之，要真正解决这类难题，看你怎么衡量利弊了。如果它真的到了你难以忍受甚至威
胁到你和家人身心健康的程度，我觉得你应该当机立断，停止你的工作，毕竟，有什么
