already been cut 肯定有60刀，
最近2个月踏空的也还是有知识的人，因为他们觉得有fundamental support 1) still
oversupply 2) OPEC production is still going up 3) no place for storage 所以
不会到40.

in 2017 even without OPEC cut. Starting 2018, demand will be more than
supply. If oversupply by 2% can cause 60% drop in price, supply shortage by
2% can do the same thing. Oil price at $200 in 2020 is a realistic dream.
US shale gas produces only 8M barrels. Even at 15% yoy gain, it will
increase by 1.2M barrels a year. (Honestly speaking it is not that easy to

，代入11月demand 11k，就是46k。
4月开始第三季度，排期没有前进，也就是说新的485就是之前没交的EB2CI和其他EB，
比10月的需求还要低，即8.5k，假设为7k，且后6个月皆如此（排期不进），也就还会
再收42k左右。这样一共收件 35+46+42=123k。尚不足140k quota，也就是说，今年即
使排期不再前进，demand也会小于supply，今年９月的总库存量会少于去年9月的总库
存. 但是，如果排除EB3，只看EB1245，就是oversupply的局面，排期将会出现一定的

is working but her single pay can not pay our expense. However, we are
living a simple life so that we can support our family so long as we both
have work.
I was good at math in my college, but do not use them in the last ten years.
The 2nd job is not a quant job, but it requires understanding their model.
I think the learning curve will be steep, but I shall be able to handle it
so long as I devote time.

program,基本一个学校accounting PhD各年级加起来也就7，8个。你以为像science那
样招一堆PhD结果毕业了都找不到工作啊。 Business School MBA绝对是要狂招，因为
是money machine，毕业了也不会和自己抢饭碗， PhD 是宁缺勿滥。Accounting PhD

On waiting list or not: we do not have to be like 深宫怨妇，被主人随便调戏/
玩弄一下,就只能终日以泪洗面 for the rest of our life.
Even just being teased with interview without any result(rejection/offer),
that's good 419 experience we can build on to hone our flirting/seduction
skills.
As in this oversupplied seller's market, we have options: move on and start

Giants we call 托拉斯...
But the problem here is that PIs of big labs are not responsible for their
postdocs and graduates after their projects are done. Right now the PHDs are
oversupplied and flooded the job market.
One solution is that PIs create more long term positions for postdocs,
instead of temp.

basic research 确实应该被cut，培养了太多的PhD 和postdoc，阿猫阿狗都能拿个PhD
做个postdoc，见到了太多悟性很低的人也人模狗样的做postdoc，这些人根本就不适
合做science，应该从science 界被赶出去。太多的data 没法重复。造成了人才和资源
的极大浪费。oversupply 就应该被cut。
美国的医疗也有太多的问题，GDP 的20% 被用在health care上，但普通老百姓还是看
病难，看病贵，确实应该改革。

很快就泄气了。要不就转行，要不就踏实的把活干好。ee跟cs差距越来越大，现在是相
当于me那样的成熟工业，但是me攻城狮做的好的在湾区也活的好好的。ee现在是典型的
oversupply期间，过几年淘汰一批人，加上工作不好找学ee的就会越来越少，到时达到
一个新的平衡点应该就好了。要是硬件在美国彻底没工作了，那我觉得这个国家也完蛋

问题是oversupply， 如果你学校不是target school话，可能只有一两个面试或者没有
。
必须好好准备，不能浪费机会， 最好有个plan B，万一一年没有offer怎么办。
所以最好先做个intern，如果有机会的话， 这样风险小很多。

感觉人满为患啊，随便什么医院的位置，都要两三轮电面，有的上午刚打完电话，下午
就找到人了，可见说统计oversupply 不是谣传啊，生物口情况急剧恶化，太多人往这
边挤了
