1. 兄弟连剧本改编于一本书，从头到尾 follow 一个小队，故事很连贯，主角演的也
很棒。
”The Pacific“剧本从三本回忆录里改编的，三个 story line, 交叉在一起，故事很
不连贯，四个主角 (Bob, Eugene, John 和 John 的那个队友）演的都一般般，Tom
Hanks 能把这样的东西揉出来基本成了个型，已经不错了。
2. 兄弟连细节上的真实性比”The Pacific“要准确，原因是兄弟连拍的时候(2000年
），里面的人物很多还健在，都被请出来当顾问。拍”The Pacific“的时候（2009年
），里面的人物已经无一健在。
3. 太平洋战争比盟军诺曼底登陆后的欧战时间跨度更长，激烈程度更剧，短短10集
mini 剧很难把太平洋战争完整勾画出来，起码应该拍20集以上才能拍出连贯性来。
但不管怎么说，哥喜欢”The Pacific“的原因很简单啊，cause it is about kill

不过我看到了一片分析PR票房不力的文章，水很深啊。
大纲，华纳是小股东，为了坑Legendary，故意的，可以解释放映场次和promotion的问

四月标志着Pacific Northwest雨季的尾声，很多地方已经是春意盎然。cyclist和
hiker们已经是蠢蠢欲动。虽然大部分山都还被白雪覆盖着，低海拔的地区已经可以进
行hiking了。Hiking是最基本的户外运动之一，因为它对技巧装备都要求少。但是你如
果认为这项运动没有技术含量就错了。这就好比人人都能跑步，但是刘翔只有一个。作
为户外运动爱好者，hiking始终是我最热爱的运动，这几年下来在美国西部也hike过不
少地方了。我就给新手普及一下最基本的知识吧，重点是装备。高手们砖头轻砸，谢谢

据Oregon和Washington到底有多长的海岸线，再说Olympia半岛和Puget Sound也不知道
怎么算，反正这两个州南北跨度大约是600迈左右吧。说到海，大家一般的印象都是夏
威夷，佛罗里达或者南加州。西北的海岸大概不如那些地方的知名，但是却很有自己的
特色。总的概括起来，西北以及北加州的海岸更加贴近自然，更加纯朴，少一些商业气
氛。这跟这个地区的大气候是分不开的。西海岸的三个州，特别是Oregon和Washington
，都把环保事业放到比经济发展更重要的位置。上次大选，绿党在西北获得了5%左右的
选票（他们在全国只获得了<2%的选票），有人说Orego |

今天准备去看despicable me 2. 这是一早就想看的片子，不知道为什么来了这个版后
看了pacific rim。领导一直问，你在哪里看到review说pacific好看的？我说这里。这
个版弱智看来真挺多的。算了这种弱智电影贡献票房就这么一次算了，以前还被忽悠看
过300。烂电影。也是这个版上忽悠的。是不是这里有电影托存在？
Pacific这部烂片的还有一个问题是所有的演员，我是说所有的演员都像在演舞台剧，
夸张得不得了。所有钱花在特效上了，剧本不好好写，其烂无比。 |

好几年前读过一本《The Imperial Cruise: A secret history of empire and war》
，讲述老罗斯福总统跟亚洲，特别是日本的渊源。上次读了《Shockwave》以后，在附
近的书架上看到了这本《Pacific Crucible》，就随便翻翻。
就是1941-1942年的太平洋战争，就是597页的hard cover，所以战事写得特别详细，大
量的original research，战斗过程，细节都写得详尽而生动，给人手不释卷的冲动。
虽然是详述的1941-1942年的战况，但是对于战争的起源，确实从十九世纪后期，世界
海军的巨大变革和日本的崛起开始阐述的，跟《The Imperial Cruise》倒是接起来了。
两届罗斯福总统，都是跟海军有着深厚的渊源。老罗斯福是近代美国海军的主要倡导者
，为了制衡日本在太平洋的势力，他力主开挖巴拿马隧道，不惜引发革命来达到这个目
