:桑树在中国的种植已有几千年的历史, 栽培的范围也十分广泛, 从南到北从东到西都
有种植. 采桑养蚕也是古代农民常干的农活.
:桑树的用途很多, 除了桑叶是桑蚕的食料之外, 桑树的枝叶和桑皮也是极好的天然植
物染料. 它的果实桑椹, 也叫桑果, 也是营养丰富的水果, 它可当鲜果食用, 也可晒干
食用或药用.
:桑椹的品种很多, 有红有白, 有长有短, 口感味道差异很大. 我吃过许多桑椹, 长型
的Pakistan是我最喜欢的品种之一. 大部分的桑椹都有点酸, 这个Pakistan长果桑却即
使尚未熟透都不酸, 熟透後味道更十分甜美.
扰则是落果色染. 为了避免这两个困扰, 我把我的桑树种在盆里. 当然了, 盆种水果
, 想要吃到吐是不可能了, 但在这後院水果比较稀少的春天, 三天两头的享用几个美味
的长果桑, 还是很过瘾的. |

vampire的。虽然在黑夜中听到背后沙沙的声音，头皮发麻的时候，几乎觉得vampire会
从背后来拍我的肩膀。
我去剑桥，除了校园和康河泛舟等等，还因为亲爱的古怪精灵的翁美玲(Babara)葬在那
里。我那时知道Barara并不多，就觉得她很可爱。后来读到很多关于她的八卦，她怎么
在剑桥长大，怎么谈恋爱失恋，怎么和忧郁症斗争，怎么回香港，又怎么自杀了以后运
回这里安葬。
我们去剑桥的那天，日子已经接近winter solstice。从校园里出来时将近五点，天已
将暗，晚上还要坐火车回伦敦。四处一打听，中心公墓并不近。我们狠了狠心，还是买
了往返车票，去了。
到了荒凉的公墓，不仅天黑了，大门都关了。拍了一阵门也没有人应。都到这里了，总
不能无功而返吧。我们左右张望一下，发现没有人，就很勇猛地翻门过去了。（以前在
学校回去晚了也翻过，其实也不是太难。）
进去以后，就傻了眼，诺大墓地，一排一排似乎无穷无尽的墓碑，到哪里去找美玲。我

about getting in amongst the action. If you feel like your images aren’t ‘

India topples Thailand as world's largest rice exporter
India has the emerged as the world's largest rice exporter in 2012 beating
its Asian counterpart Thailand with shipment of 9.75 million tonnes,
according to United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) latest
report.
Thailand was the top rice exporter with exports of 10.65 million tonnes in
2011. However, its volume slipped to 6.5 million tonnes in 2012.

联邦众院领袖白锷德(John Baird)22日上午在记者会上说，凡在8月2日至9月12日之间募集到的民间捐款，都会得到联邦政府等额的追加捐款，没有上限。
联邦政府为此专门设立了「巴基斯坦水灾援助基金」(Pakistan Floods Relief Fund)，募集到的捐款将由加拿大国际开发署(Canadian International Development Agency)打理。
白锷德说：「募集到捐款将被用于巴基斯坦人道援助、灾后重建」。
学者及加拿大反对党都对政府的增加援助表示赞许，并认为政府这个动作会促使更多人捐款。
等额捐款是加拿大政府此前宣布的3300万元捐款以外追加的捐款。
类似的做法在2004年印度洋海啸及海底地震时都促使民众更多的捐款，包括自由党在内的有些人对来联邦政府迟迟宣布等额捐款的做法提出批评，白锷德说：「有些人说我们做得还不够，我们已经是国际上排第五的捐款大户了。」
他还说，海啸及地震比水灾不一样，现在巴基斯坦境况还在恶化。
