现在买的房子的前房主就是娃大了搬去TENAFLY的
感觉大纽约地区的韩国人基本上遵循着以下路线:
年轻单身时候住QNEENS/BKLYN
刚结婚无娃或者娃小的时候住PALISADES PARK
娃够学龄了住CRESSKILL/TENAFLY...

发帖数: 499 | 3 如果开车去newport，我一般留出30分钟的时间，从18st出发，到444 Washington ave.
但不是上下班时间。上下班时间的话可能会堵。。我就不好估计了。
30st往南到20st的palisade ave是union city 和weehawken的分界线, 越靠近30街的房
子越贵，路两边差不多的房子都是两个价，而且没有什么avaliable的公寓卖，大部分
都是2-3units的MF。估计不符合你的要求。
20st往南到paterson，都属于union city，印象中有一些unit不多的公寓卖，好像都是
MF改造的，因为我没有关心过公寓，所以整体不是特别了解。。。
palisade的西边就是new york ave, 几个月前路重新铺过，还不错，最好不要超过
bergenline。 再往西，central ave上面有一些不错的公寓楼，但是原来打过交道的一
个realtor告诉我们12街附近原来有drug dealer活动，把我们吓退了。。
union city的房子从10年下半年到11年上半年是非常好的抄底的时候，房价比起07年基

发帖数: 186 | 4 俺就住在Bergen county的Leonia，离fort lee开车10分钟不到。Leonia学区算上乘但
不是顶级。顶级的话tenafly算一个，Bergen academy就不用提了，谁学习好考分高谁
上。传统韩裔聚集地是fort lee，现在是palisades park。Leonia毗邻palisades park
，韩裔有向Leonia扩散的趋势。Leonia低产税非常高，比tenafly还要高一些。
楼主说的很中肯，就是通勤门到门一小时是不可能的。Bergen county火车并不发达，
大多数人还是坐公车。从家门口走到公车站就要至少5分钟。早上坐上公车到port
authority的话平均要50分钟，如果是tenafly或者closter的话再加20-30分钟。从port
authority再坐地铁去公司，平均再加个20-25分钟，所以早上上班门到门至少1小时20
分钟，1个半小时是常事，遇上路上有事故，2个小时也发生过好几回。
Alpine是顶级富豪去，Jay Z什么的都在那里有房子。Englewood cliffs也不错，都是

Z55和子午线是轻型背包，不是过分追求轻量化的话尽量避免，因为布料很薄容易刮破
或者磨破
听朋友说palisade是最好的夏季徒步包，bora是最好的冬季徒步包，忘了问他为什么了
……
运气好的话能在craigslist上捡个二手那是最好了，省下钱来买睡袋

对方是小保险公司，叫Palisades Insurance。
负责我的case的adjuster在我们第一次通电话的时候说，不cover拖车和（或）存车费
用。当我准备问
细节的时候，又改口问拖车公司的电话地址信息，说会rush处理。
待我问了周围的人，认为应该由他们支付这些费用，再想和她联系，就不接电话，留言
也不回。
我问了拖车公司的人，他们也觉得应该是由对方保险付这个费用。
请问大家有没有类似的经历。能否给我一些建议？

前阵子在Palisades parkway上开车被抓了，
说是超速24迈，虽然后来我觉得是超了，
可是觉得不会那么多。
所以想plea not guilty.
要是去上庭的话，我应该什么策略呢？
如果警察不去的话，是不是我什么都不用说，直接被dismiss?
如果警察去了呢？我是应该直接认了算了，还是跟他争一下，
说我没有超24迈那么多？胜算大么？
还有，新泽西警察不出庭的概率大不大呀？
正在犹豫要不要去出庭，因为虽然不想认罚，但毕竟有些理亏，
底气不足（以前在加州被抓过一次，
不过底气太足了，明显我就没有超，所以写信去argue掉了）

发帖数: 467 | 36 今天开车去爬大熊山，结果倒霉的一次就给了2张ticket。警车躲在一个很长下坡下150
来米，Palisades PKW上,限速55（前面没太注意，因为天气好车也不算多，大家都开得
挺快，70.80左右），因为下坡，大家基本都顺溜，也不怎么踩刹车，后来据警察讲是
车速78了，结果给了张speeding ticket。虽然觉得确实speed了，但是其实大家都开这
么快，觉得有些倒霉。还不经如此。
当时我车开在左道，下坡后，突然发现右道前面有辆车（后面知道是警车，当时不知道
，警灯在车里开始没亮）停着（或者慢速前开），警灯到我比较近的时候才似闪非闪。
我赶紧刹了些车，因为警车在右前方，不太明确他的意图是不是要栏我，确实没刹车够
猛。1,2秒警灯就高速的闪了，于是赶紧pullover到警车后面了，因为仓促离警车有点
近，这个过程中警车拉到左lane，在我前面向我示意pullover上curb。这时看到前面还
有辆车也被pullover了。然后就是悲催的给了2张ticket，一张speeding，一张follow

发帖数: 1676 | 43 昨天下午经华盛顿桥去新泽西参加朋友的聚会。
一家老小开车走在upper leve的最右道。
右道因为是直接通palisades parkway的，所以车速较左道都要快。左道通I95，route
4之类的，交通比较不顺。
当时我们所在的右道车流速度大概60，车间距都只有两到三个车长。
左道车速相当，或者说略低。
险情就在那一瞬间，前面开MDX的那个傻比阿三突然做了一个特恐怖的变道。变道前他
在左道贴着前车的屁股，变道瞬间他是贴着我前车的屁股，几乎以撞向右边护栏的角度
变道。
然后我不得不一脚把刹车踩到了底。后来马上传来哧的一声。还好我松刹车也快，油门
也回位及时，所有
动作一气呵成。要不然就是一连串的车祸了。
后来进入双车道后我迅速追上了那个阿叉，打开车窗把那Sb阿三大骂了一通，那阿三闷
着头拼命加速往前逃。
我接着紧跟着他，后来丫的居然和我同路，一路超速往前跑，到后来下高速的一个
yeild sign他都不停就往前开。当时真祈祷有个大卡车过来直接把丫干翻就好了。
再后来红灯我直行，他右拐跑了。 |

追上后，丫闷着头不敢看。
再后来我想追上他也不能把它咋的，但碰巧丫和我同路，所以我一直在他后面。那阿叉
一路上吓个半死，连yeild sign也不顾就闯过去了。 |
