There's 50/50 chance that the Sox won the world series either on Wen or Thur
night, and in that case, the Championship Parade (Duck Boat) is surely to
be on Saturday ( as thay did two years ago with the Bruins Parade, on a Sat)
covering the most Downtown area.at least Half million ppl will show up.
If that's the case, you definitely want to avoid Sat. |

非常赞同，纳粹的标志有些激进，而且就在holocaust的museum, 容易引起反感。
另外，不知到能否使用扩音器喇叭，可能效果会更好一些。今天其实有些打擦边球，25
人以上的集结按说需要游行的permit，但是今天大家没有引起警察叔叔们的注意（他们
今天维持red sox parade警力都安排走了，没人鸟我们），如果其他时间还是会比较棘
手，尤其是今天估计总共来了有一百多人。
不过还是很赞一下时间，和sox parade虽然时间冲突，但是直接达到了平常游人数量的
三倍，impression rate相当高。所以最初组织者定的日子和时间虽然没有考虑到时间
冲突，但是最后效果还是相当不错的
另外同意，把school shooting/violence 也牵扯进来，更容易得到大多数人的共鸣.
而且没有想到的是, kimmel在大众心中地位还是相当高的，炮口对准ABC 可能会更有效
些或者容易获得老美的认可
最后，今天虽然也碰到一些不和谐的事情（红脖子来取闹）， 但毕竟和08年的正对有
组织的民运／轮子来比轻松很多，而且大家也都保持了克制 。有一时间一个女同胞好

我们下午和I-Center还有DPS的人商谈了一下活动的形式和地点，汇报如下：
校方同意集会的形式，但是地点有限，因为Arena周围都是车道和停车场，因为不能影
响交
通，所以只能在Arena和Stadium背后的两个小块空地以及两块空地之间的E.Stadium的
路边
弄。不过就算是这点地方，估计也够聚集几百上千人了，agostic和DPS说的是大概500-
1000人左右。就算超过了千人，我们可以站到旁边的草地上去。虽然校方并不鼓励我们
站到Arena的草地，不过语气还是很flexible的。
至于我们原先想要的从Central Campus Walk到Arena来，校方认为这个算是parade了，
因为有些道路是学校的，有些道路是Ann Arbor城市的，如果parade就比较麻烦，要向
市政方面申请，而且审批时间比较长，我们可能这次弄不了了。

知道什么是里八层，外八层了，不过倒挤的挺暖和 :P
感觉parade商业气息太重，连麦当劳叔叔都出来了，太FT乐。
组织上比不上pasadena的rose parade,
花车也没有什么新意，而且竟然都是用卡车拖着！
不过有生以来第一次看见那么多奇形怪状的气球！
还有骑马的纽约警察很帅，看到很多pp的cheer leaders,
一些小丑的即兴表演也比较好看。 |

因为下个周末就要去NJ“乡下”做intern，山居两个多月，等回来夏天也要结束了，要
错过许多的hot and cool stuff in town，比如central park的莎剧、met opera和纽
约爱乐，以及sgmv云集的gay parade和美人鱼parade，不由得分外珍惜起在纽约的这最
后一个周末，巧的是恰逢Memorial day的长周末，一不小心成了我的电影节，不过酷暑
难当，躲在空调房里看电影刚好。
周五去看了Shrek 3，看的是5:40那场，算早的了，所以满座都是带孩子的爸爸妈妈
还有老师领着的好大一群蓝色校服的小学生，绞尽脑汁想我最后看一场六一节电影是哪
一年，然而现实是N多同学家里娃娃们都在过六一节了！也只能羡慕童话里shrek和
fiona结婚六年（2001-2007）还是恩爱如初。我说是happy ending, T却argue说Prince
Charming真是悲惨，这个，我承认他长得帅，但命苦不能怨政府，得怨编剧啊。

刚刚送女儿上学回来，学校路边drop off后看看身后没车，驶入左转车道，这会儿
听到两声尖利的汽车喇叭声，我纳闷哪来的声音，因为没见谁挡道什么的啊。等我并入
左转道后，看见我前面隔着一辆FORD车，有辆红色奔驰CLK430打算插队，大概我前面的
车没给她让或者是让慢了，紧接着又是两声尖利的喇叭声发自红色奔驰。前面的车停住
，让她插了队，然后前面车从右侧超上同红色奔驰并排，车主摇下车窗玻璃，好像在说
什么，估计意思是指责红奔驰车主的无礼。红车压根儿没理会，一直紧闭车窗，FORD车
主似乎很生气，居然竖起中指，然后愤愤离去。竖中指不好，但这红车也似乎太过分了
，插队就插队吧，干嘛死命摁喇叭，再说插队也要等人家让你才行哦，没礼貌。也许是
年轻人不懂规矩？也或许是.....。绿灯，车开起来，我好奇的开到和红色奔驰并排的

14th Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade & Festival 第14届新春爱心大游行 ★★★

为庆祝农历蛇年的到来，华埠各社团纷纷组织相应，开展这场别具场面的春节大游
行，精心制作的大花车，激荡人心的游行乐队，热闹欢庆的舞龙舞狮，传统动听的传统
音乐，生动有趣的魔术表演和杂技杂耍，都会让人感受到中华传统节日特色。今年游行
队伍预计将有超过5000人，观光客可能会超过10万。此外，主办方还希望组织万人共跳
江南Style骑马舞，之后将此活动申请列入吉尼斯世界纪录大全。
时间：2月17曰 (星期曰) 下午 1:00时。
