也有economy parking, $10/day.
那个daily parking 离 terminal比较近一点儿, 步行就可以了.
parking的地儿分south和north.
你接近机场的时候,就有许多标志告诉你parking的方向,你follow指示就行了.
一定要记住自己的车停在哪层,我上次忘记了,害得我半夜找了半天车.

发帖数: 265 | 8 我住在floral park。 这里有韩国人的教堂，但是我到现在还没有碰到过韩国人，倒是
在playground, 学校操场和幼儿园里都有碰到中国人。floral park有自己的警察，反
应速度据说比打911快。安全上还是不错的。另外就是交通，我觉得这里的交通选择性
还不错，火车能直通manhattan, brooklyn,和queens， 不像北边的线到brooklyn就不
方便。不愿意做火车，还能坐bus转地铁，bus要是做到快车，只一站就到地铁了，上下
班时快车不少。到flushing要转bus， 我们一般都是开车去，好在我们不是成天往
flushing跑。家里老人都去F车方便到的地方。小学很不错，高中如何见仁见智，肯定
不如great neck south， 你要是能买到great neck自然是最好。
stewart manor我有一次坐火车到过，很僻静，站台在地面上（floral park的站台在桥
上，不影响地面交通）， 当时我想叫部出租都叫不到。
new hyde park很大，有些地区听说能上great neck south， 但是交通怎样就不知道了。

有的站5$/day,有的6$/day,网上付钱后,打印带Barcode的收据，
到了bart的停车场，找reserved parking，不要停在daily parking。
把收据放在车里，从外面可以scan到的地方就行了。
weekend说是不用付钱。但是online系统不自动扣除。
你要是weekday开始park，回来还是weekday，就没法省了。
你要是weekend开始park，回来也是weekend，就不用付两头的parking了。 |

发帖数: 6226 | 16 在downtown吃了一个parking ticket, $250. 说是停在了commercial vehicle loading zone。其实是跟往常一样停在路边，然后去那种太阳能的贩卖机上买了一个小时的parking。回来一看，就有了个ticket。看看，路边前边，确实有个牌子，说是commercial vehicle
loading。只是当时趴车没看到，以为只要交钱的就随便趴，没想到还要看路边的牌子。。买的parking上边没有说commercial parking only。这个还能上法院斗争吗？从没想到parking ticket也这么贵, 说实在的，$250一个parking ticket，太不值了。一个闯红灯才$180。 |

察给我开了张255刀的parking citation，说我停在了commercial parking area.这一
块区域是我们常用接人下班的地方啊，从来没听有人吃过ticket。
我停的地方后面有一个no parking的牌子，说是commercial zone,地上也划了线。我停
的地方没划线，右侧有一个parking meters，不过我后来仔细看parking meters上也写
着no parking，但是晚上9点也没法看清楚吧。请问这个情况可以apeal吗？需要找律师

哈佛开会。分到周五才做报告的我，提前的一周的周六就飞过了整个美国大陆，飞到了
波士顿，就是为了去一下远在美国东北角的Acadia national park。那时候我在美国的
西北角生活了五年，已经去过了美国的西南角和东南角，就差东北角了。
但是临出发前在这个版看到有人发的White Mountain的帖子，临时改变了计划绕道去了
new hampshire的White Mountain，结果又为了去美东最高的Mt Washington而多待了一
天.在Conway那里看到了最美的夕阳日落，却因为差一天而错过了去Acadia national
park的机会。最终我只到了缅因州的Portland，是的，另一个Portland，吃了龙虾，看
到了缅因州几乎家家门外挂着的美国国旗，还有那小而温馨的Portland，当然，还有那
坑爹的几乎看不到海的东部海边一号公路。
从那之后，Acadia national park一直成为了我的一个遗憾。虽然我至今已经走遍了美

parking费用300多一点。LG单位的有室内parking，不需parking费用。LG说还不如他每

现在住的town，街趴管得特别严。除了要办理parking permit分区趴车之外，而且一、
四扫一边
街，二、五扫另一边，基本上每天都得挪挪车了。
上上周四晚，好不容易在周五不扫街的那边找了个车位，虽然靠近corner，但是车屁股
并没有出线，恰
好在corner白实线上方，绝对没有超过。当时想应该没问题了。
结果星期六下午去车前，发现两张parking tickets，一张周五9am，一张周六9am（这

闷，从没听说过parking authority周六检查的），原因都是相同：parking at corner

不服气，上网填了一份Parking Ticket Dispute Form
说是需要4-6周处理时间。
原文如下：
“We have received your Parking Ticket Dispute Form. Please allow 4 - 6
weeks response time. Additional penalties are suspended until the dispute
is reviewed and the hearing examiner makes a determination.”
现在6周都过去了，还没有收到任何email通知。
请问怎么查这张ticket的状态？谢谢！
BTW: 当时趴车的时候是趴在meter旁边，
路边的告示牌有两块连在一起的，
一块黑字一块绿字
黑字是："Resident Permit Parking only 8AM-6PM"
绿字是：“2 Hour parking only 8AM-6PM”
我没有permit,但当时都已经晚上7点多了，我觉得过了6点可以趴了

发帖数: 391 | 31 纽约市，在no parking sign下面，车没熄火，人在车内，LD下车买东西，结果5分钟来
了个老印巡警，告诉我他在街对面盯了我5分钟，停的时间太长了，给了一张No
Parking的罚单，上面comments还是“No activities & engine off”。
这个地方我也不是第一次停，车前车后也停靠过不少车，吃这么张罚单挺无语的。
回来查看了下No parking的规则，写是写着要快速上下客或卸货，但是这个跟平时的经
验不符啊。而且他在ticket上面写“engine off”，完全是把我当做fully parking给
坑了。
60块钱，罚款不多，但是挺难咽下这口气的，大家说说，如果上厅的话，有没有机会赢？
（拍了些照片，但是如何证明当时我是在车上，没有熄火；或是他认定我停靠时间太长
，违反No Parking rule）

visit parking 上了大概半个多小时，结果出来给了个ticket. 原因是有permit 不能
停在visit parking位置。
好像太不合理了吧。就像残疾人parking permit 难道不能停到普通parking位置上吗？

绩。 Floral Park Memorial High School白人66%， 泥哥12%， 阿米狗12%， 亚裔只
有10%而且大多是三哥。

Floral Park高中只有1500的SAT成绩，非常一般。 往东一点的New Hyde Park里面的
Herricks是1763, 价钱差不多。 Great Neck和Jericho都是1800+了。 这也是这些学

Bellerose， Floral Park还有New Hyde Park都是三哥地盘， 我不看好中国人能渗透
