it's not necessary to get the more expensive courses, such as PLI or Barbri.
Longacre is a good one to go with, at $1k. patentbar.com is not that good
from what i heard, it's mostly a reprint of MPEP plus a bunch of old exams
which you can download from the web.

发帖数: 58 | 7 从申请到approve好像用了2个星期, approval上写的清楚要在什么时间内考试. 其实就
是approval 发出的date几天后开始的三个月内要考掉.
在报名之前零零散散的看了些 pli 教程,后来发现效率太低,就报了名考试. 准备基本
就是在收到考试批准信后的三个月左右的时间里完成的. 基本过程就是: 先跟pli 过一
遍, 边做pli 的练习题. 然后用patware做三个小时一次的练习, 然后仔细总结, 查
mpep, 看&听pli相关章节,直到把patware里的几套作完. 类似的做法把 2001-2003 的
题目 go through 后,时间就差不多了, 记得最后一套题目是考前一天晚上下班后做完
的,然后就大概看了一下 pli 的 advice 部分, 第二天就去考试了.
用了pli, mypatentbar.com, 有iphone/ipod/ipad的同学还可以买一个patentbar的
apps, 空闲的时间可以做做题目. good luck to all of us! |

Patent agent 有近两年的经验， 09年过得patentbar。一个小所，给86K，觉得少了点
，但当时面试时没有还价。他们说会给我一封正式的信。现在过了几天，觉得挺堵的。
我是不是可以给他们发个邮件，要95K什么的。
另外，要是这次不要，下次要等到年底涨一点。听说有两三年经验就可以拿到100K以上
，可我觉得这还挺远的。真是这样吗？
我在东部新泽西和宾州之间。

太清楚这个writing sample的写作要求。不知道EE背景的有人能帮我看看我的writing
sample，然后能不能狠狠地给我提出意见来。

没用PLI，太贵了，可以买套沙发了，:-P。 买了套patentbar的自学资料，粗看了一遍
，ch700，2100看了两遍。2003年的两套题做了两遍，其他的做了一遍，本来还想看网
上的真题，但已经没时间了，就硬着头皮上了。上帝保佑，让我过了。下午考到一个小
时的时候，计算机还崩溃了，好在考点的工作人员很快修复了。。。
总体感觉ch2100是纲，看MPEP会有些帮助，很多地方MPEP给了例子帮助理解，也就帮助
记忆了。

Contains or contained at any time a claim to a claimed invention having an
effective filing date that is on or after March 16, 2013 or
claims or ever claimed the benefit of an earlier filing date under 35 U.S.C.
120 , 121, or 365 based upon an earlier application that ever contained
such a claim, then AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103 apply to the application

你加none-support claim，肯定是112啊。 当然你可以连带new disclosure一起加，然
后file个CIP。但是这样的话，这个continuation就是post-AIA了。 |
