发帖数: 1395 | 9 不知道是不是他率先用大pad的，但是现在这种pad的设计是根他的butterfly
有直接联系的。这个最早可以追溯到72 summit series。当时的播音员也说
加拿大和俄罗斯队员的装备上就能看出完全不同的两种mindset。肯拽顿的pad
就比俄罗斯的揣奇雅克的要小一点点，而且也不如后者厚。现在的pad都改进
成不仅非常厚而且形状也改成长方形，不像以前都是圆角，就是便于butterfly
的时候不留空隙。加上现在overwhelmingly的butterfly，几乎所有的pad都是
为butterfly设计的。 |

quit for good.
he didn't have big cashes in major tournaments.
fulltilt wants to sponsor him but so far no deal made yet, so he shouldn't
have much sponsorship $.
for his durrrr challenge, he's going to give anyone $1M if one can beat him
over 50K hands (very hard to finish in the end, even now, patrik is just
half way through). so i guess $1M still looks like some big $ to him.

Patrik Antonius are pretty good. Their result is pretty consistent. And I
guess they has very disciplined bankroll management also, which is key for
nosebleeding stakes.
Especially Phil Ivey, I do not see any trend he will go broken.

value. He knew he was ahead. So it was not a bluff for him.He didn't need
to bluff to win on the river, he could've just called, but he knew he had
the best hand and he wanted to get a little more value by check-raise. That'

the time it is a bluff because the range is so narrow - near nuts or air.
for this hand i guess fcf would call you if he had a pair. but he had
nothing (not even K high) and had to fold his bluff to your bluff (he must
think you were bluffing most of time here).
but u could c/r with a river hit pair of 9's too. some people might continue
betting if they hit the 9, and hope to get called by a smaller pair. or you

第一本是ed miller 的《Professional No-Limit Hold 'em: Volume I》。 应该说这
本书的出发点还是很有意思的。作者试图用stack to pot ratio（SPR）来处理poker当
中的各种可能的situation。这是这本书的特点，也是这本书没什么用的原因……现实
的情况比简单的SPR复杂的多，感兴趣的可以看Bill Chen的《The Mathematics of
Poker》。另外让我比较无语的是很多和stack size有关的interesting and
fundamentally important的concepts在这本号称专讲stack size的书里面居然完全没
有涉及。这个就是不能容忍的了。比如说100bb effective stack size， 为什么3bb
open 比5bb 或者2bb open要好。为什么3bet size是一般是10bb，4bet size一般是

我觉得她和TR如果清醒点的话都不该走。
Heigel的成功电影就是那个Knocked Up，而之所以成功很大程度是因为Seth Rogan,她
在里面只是个花瓶而已，同样的花瓶片子27 dresses，没有了Seth Rogan就失败了很多
。从热门剧集里面跳出去拍电影的除了George CLooney似乎还没有第二个成功例子 --
Aniston是在Friends 完了以后才全职拍电影的，而且没有那些八卦的话她未必能像现
在那样受关注； David Cruso在NYPD鼎盛的时候依然辞职拍电影，结果一直没起色，只
有最后灰头土脸回到电视上演CSI Miami
Knight比较倒霉，被Washington那件事out以后将来的出路要窄得多了，如果能在GA里
面演一个非同志的话应该在这里待到最后才是上策，这样再过几年以后说不定还能有其
他机会，现在出去基本上是死路一条--现在gay男演straight的大概只有Neil Patrik

美国国际集团（AIG）主席特别顾问Ernest T. Patriks 博士作了
题为“美国金融结构改革”的报告，主要谈改革的推动力量及立法
的进展情况。摘要如下。
我非常高兴在这里讨论一个生动的话题。必须首先申明：一个国家
的金融机构反映了它的经济、政治和社会结构，不存在一个适用于
所有国家的统一形式。但是，我们可以互相借鉴各自成功与失败的

在美国，有关改革的法律提案提交到国会，多年来却悬而未决，因

，瑞士人，49岁，未婚（此人名言‘婚姻是shit，家庭是wholly shit）。在美国和日
本工作数年，2000年来到此大学材料系。（他最欣赏日本那种上下级制度，就是上级无
论说什么下级都要听都要做。所以就连他买房子都买日本人设计的，开车也开丰田）。
此人学术成就极高，亲口说过搞科研就是cooking paper，只要paper多，就NB。于是一
年365天每天废寝忘食，早9点到晚8点，从不离开实验室，即使公共假期和每年一个月
的休假也不放弃工作。而且每天中午只在办公室吃几根胡萝卜。当有学术交流团体来此
组，他也会利用各种机会，向别人打听学术内容及想法，之后找几个学生日以继夜的工
作，有了点结果马上就发篇paper。因此有时要面对同行的质问，但是他仍然挺胸抬头
对同行说，‘你们太慢了，你们没我做的快，哈哈哈哈。’。。。为了学术，不惜以身
