9600sqft，也有空调，不过远了点，在san carlos，所以对东南湾这些俱乐部构成不了
威胁。
不过估计那一带以后就这一家独大了。他们的策略还是不错的。 |

the club willn't open until 2 weeks since th floor is shipping from
China, now old floor is being used.
Yes, it is PATTC, but 2 miles away from my home, PATTC was my first
club at bay area(96-01), life would come back to me! |

建议:
1. 一周两次去 Foster City club. 湖边景美. 成员高雅. $3 drop-in, $45 3个月.
2. 一周去两次 Burlingame TTC. 3个教练(美国队, 和2600省队教练).
我个人觉得要抵制A3和变态的俱乐部(ICC和PATTC) |

played at 2200 level for Stanford/UCLA, i saw him improving
back to 96 at PATTC, but he quitted tt for golf, rarely played
at the company.
at least u got chances to play against howard. |

just join their yahoo group to apply. but if u are 1500, u play 6 matches
against all 2000+ guys, not much points.. |

they form 2 teams from picking up by 2 team leaders, they gamble, even for
one

如果不是，现在我不知道，以前像milestone这样的都有时候要在waiting list，因为
实力太低，就算给他轮到了也是基本垫底的，也就是说哪个队要了他自认倒霉，根本不
指望他拿分。
其实你的追球太低了，那也就一群2000－2300的人，你中午直接去王小帅那，2－3个
2500＋的教练，你缠着他们一人打一个match，他们也估计不好意思说NO |

had been learning from Ren for a long time.
Yong's style was very formal, you can feel his ball is not strange
at all, very comfortable style, i liked to play him, sometimes he
even let me win one game (21 points).
Milestone has attacks on his forehand too, the 100% pure blocker
is penholder Vincent, 2100 level. |

Still remember the first match we played at PATTC, you were so slow, like
Ma lin, it took u so long time before u served.
How come u lost to Hokieman?

i stayed in 1600s for a while back to 97, 98, then i stopped
going to club, instead, i went to gym, 6 months later, i was
surprised to see i could beat some guys i hardly beat before in
PATTC, they asked if i had trained in China since they didn't see
me for a while.
Finally i broke 1800s in 2000 USOpen. |

发帖数: 5654 | 21 Mine used to be breaking 1900 for the first 6, 7 years i played a series
of tournaments, at that time, 1900 was so high for me to reach, i barely
got one game against those 1900 players in PATTC, actually there was a
white guy called Matt, who was also a USATT certified club coach, who also
plays tennis, in his 1700s, guess due to his 2 wing looper balanced style,
even my rating was within 50 of his, i never got one game from him, always
0:2 ( to 21) |

i have the same situation as you do, it was not due to the passion
decrease i had to TT, but due to env change.
i like to live effectively, so in my current env., not willing to
drive even 20 miles to PATTC to play, just consider the overhead is
too big.
But it is always good to go slow, and solid improvement.
At my current local club, i average lose 1 match out of 8-10...very
hard to improve, so just enjoy playing and other stuffs... |

wow, sounds like u knew him better than i did, i played him for many
years in PATTC, then stopped.
Last time i played him was right before SVTTC was shut down. I just
know he also switched around between tennis and TT, these 2 sports
do affect each other. Have not seen him since end of 07.
Your style is similar as his, but it seems his looping is smoother,
urs are more powerful. |

对是能保证极强的抓地力而不打滑的。我今天穿的Butterfly Energy Force V，用的就
是跟ASICS323一模一样的鞋底，对在较滑场地上移动较多的人来说是绝好的选择。昨天
穿的NIttaku Winbeat X90也是抓地较牢的，也适合在这种地板上打球。 |

来碰见另外一个PATTC的，打得很好。他说他以前跟我打过，我记性不好，完全不认识

发帖数: 2457 | 27 我几年前有次回成都，在川大俱乐部找童玲给我陪练了一小时，价格比这边的教练还便
宜，发力拉她的削球，连续个5,6板没问题啊，记得那次我用的是Stiga Carbonix直板
正手配Darker Provine 2.2。前段时间每隔两周会找原来PATTC的胖Andrew练一小时的
拉削球，让他主要用反手长胶来削，我拉他左半台，他可以随便往我的左半台和右半台
削，跟他练这个，非常锻练自己的迎前，我也可以连续3，4板，因为通常第3板他就削
不住了。看来以后得去找SVTTC的小郝来练这个了。。。。。。 |

i have not played for over 10 years..
some of them i used to be a underdog, but beat them easily, eg
2 matches, all 3:0 against David C, 4 matches, all 3:0 against
my old training partner: dentist Austin C,(i used to go to his
3 car garage home at Cupertino to train with him)
closest win was 5th (11:6) against PK, and 5th (11:5) against
2100 rated Ted.
feel fitter and more energized than those nerdy college years in my 20s,
haha. |

about 1300, played Vietnamese Chinese called Lee, he played shakehand,
but switch between his 2 hands to loop from 2 sides, i lost my fist
match in bay area 1:2 in 21 points.
i lived in border line of SJ and Campell, needed to drive 280->85->
101-> 40 mins. one way, played 2-4 matches one night since i lost
2/3 of my matches... |

experience...
image you play a final in an event of USOpen, you play a kid, the
kid has coach, parents, and friends to cheer him/her up, you
just play alone......
there was an Ironian kid back to 98 at PATTC, i upset him in U1750
final, he cried. Then 6 months later, in US nationals at LVegas,
i played him again, he went up to 1800+, i won 1st game to 21, he

，Ding Bo，甚至那个女的直板半长胶（大母蹄打过的。但是我亲见DingBo连输她两次
），还有一个广东人说国语的，以前在pattc我打不过的，见他偶尔也灭了老里一次。
还有一些偶尔见过一两次的，我觉得水平都不在老里之下。 |

of course not, more related to the distance, i got excited when PATTC
moved to SCarlos, so that i could join the Friday RR leagues, but was
disappointed that they moved to SVTTC...
09 was the year for tennis, 15 hours/week, then i lived in London until
middle of 11, these days, i love beach volleyball more than TT for sure,
my gym workout is getting more interesting too.
i love TT, but it is a sports for life, why rush? after playing over
usatt since 96, u really think i care about rating that ... 阅读全帖 |

even worse than attack, u humiliated me, my level/rating was reached
by my effort/competition.
when i joined PATTC back to 96, Yong/Voltare/henry were the top players,
all were at least 700 higher than me, i was not even average level in
the open play, i never thought i could reach the level i had a chance
to beat them.
Even Henry saved 4 match points, i still beat him.
btw, when will you pay me Baozi you owed 2 years back by losing doubles
to me? |
