weakness in China's yuan currency and will review whether the currency has
been manipulated, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told Reuters on

paper: 4 journal, 9 conference, 2 book chapter, 基本都是第一作者;
一个patent 在写, 估价来不及放上去
citation: 不多, 独立大概65, 不过分布感觉还可以
有几个好大学的dissertation引了, 但是就一两句话, 不知道要不要强调
另外有两片小paper大段介绍我做的东西, 想问问该在哪里强调一下?
律师只是让我把google scholar的页面打印出来
review: 大概70多次, 大多是些不知名杂志
另外给有的会议只有invitation, 没有review完的thank you email, 不知道
要不要写上去?
律师没有让我问任何editor要RL, 我是不是要跟她说去要一封?

发帖数: 809 | 23 周末的Sahale可谓计划赶不上变化。最早的计划是2-day Boston Basin上下，要在
Basin camping一夜。因为每天的permit数量有限制，Paulo特意把时间定在周五、周六
，而非周末，而且掐着点跑到range station拿permit。可惜那个地方是好几个classic
climb的base camp，我们居然没有拿到permit… 大家商量了一下，决定改成星期六一
天的climb，路线不变。Paulo虽然年年都走Sahale，但从来没有一天走过，所以保险起
见，定在凌晨12点半起床，1点出发。想着星期六是原路上下，不会经过Cascades Pass
，星期五下午干脆就去那里hike打发时间。那个trail是个著名的圈圈路，下来的时候
数了数，37个turns switch back爬升1800ft。路还全部在树林里，抬头是树，低头还
是树，是怪无聊的。Pass上看山谷和对面很近的山，也可以看到悬冰川，风景尚可。
看到对面山半中间挺陡的雪坡上有一道贯穿traverse的“boot path”，而且相当暴露
，底下很近就是cliff，还想好牛啊，这都有人敢 |

carryover. One student is already pretty slow on our Firday's hike, and that
's why Paulo decides to leave at 1am on Saturday :-(
It took us 5+ hours from basin to col, including time to get water. (only
one filter for 7). Paulo did it every year, 我觉得他有的地方不是很小心。最后
登顶的几十ft，他说把绳子coil在身上，保持绳队走，被我坚决抵制了。这种一个fall
，全fall的事情很不安全吧... 最后把绳子收起来，我一根，assistant leader一根，
我们两个最后走，他第一个带路上去。中间有人觉得不comfortable，问能不能稍微保
护一下，顶上说没绳子... 总之我觉得不是 |

内卢， 伊瓜苏瀑布，还有就是玛瑙斯。初步的旅程计划如下，请大家给点意见：
day 1: 出发
day 2: Rio (飞机是早晨6，7点到），上午休息，下午去海边走走，然后是面包山
day 3: Rio (驼背山,看基督雕像）
day 4: Sao Paulo (早晨的飞机）（中午圣保罗护法英雄纪念碑，巴西独立纪念碑，皇
宫，I.IBIRAPUERA公园）
day 5: Manaus (早晨的飞机），（大剧院、印第安人历史博物馆，逛贸易市场）
day 6: Manaus---亚马逊一日游
day 7: Igassu Falls (凌晨的飞机）（参观瀑布）
day 8: Rio(下午的飞机从igassu falls到rio）， 晚上飞回美国
day 9: 到家
不知道这样安排可行吗？ 是不是有点紧张了。我还可以在多2天时间机动。
而且现在还有个计划就是先到sao Paulo, 然后到manaus, igassu falls,最后到rio,
不知道哪个安排比较好？

已经在用tripadvisor，但是我只是看到旅馆或是speciality lodging, 您是否指到
travel forum那里咨询？ 能否给个连接？
我同时搜了网上，发现有个http://amazonadventures.com/amazon.htm,列出了不少的speciality lodging的3 days 2nights的travel package. 但是不知道哪家比较好？上次你们是选了哪家？感觉如何？
还有，我正在想是否一大早从rio飞到sao paulo,大概早上8，9点到，然后逛上一天，
晚上11点多的时候做飞机从sao paulo到manaus,然后凌晨2，3点的时候到manaus, 在机
场呆上几个小时，然后7，8点的时候就立即参加这个3 days 2nights的旅行，一般第一
天都是半休息的。

说老实话，Rose/Bernard的地位和Nicky/Paulo一开始是差不多的，但是因为受到爱戴

保罗·科埃略的小说《牧羊少年奇幻之旅》已经被翻译成67种语言。
巴西著名作家保罗·科埃略（Paulo Coelho）的小说《牧羊少年奇幻之旅》（又译为《
炼金术士》）近7年来，仍处在《纽约时报》畅销书排行榜上。
故事叙述一位来自西班牙安达鲁西亚地区的牧羊男孩，为了追寻梦想前往埃及金字塔的
历程。小说出版后，立刻在巴西国内成为畅销书。
但是科埃略本人认为，这部小说在国际上的成功应该归功于1994年小说英文译本的出版。
他1999年接受《纽约时报》采访时表示，“在美国以外的出版界，没有人愿意读西班牙
语作品，更不用说葡萄牙作品了。”
“我的小说被翻译成英文后，才使其他主编有可能阅读我的作品。”
现在，《牧羊少年奇幻之旅》已经有67种语言的译本。
但是，为了满足英语读者需求，要把巴西葡萄牙语的文学作品翻译成英语，并非易事。
由于两种语言之间没有完全相同的文化背景和观念，译者必须在忠实于原著和让英语读
者准确理解众多具有巴西文化特色表达之间保持平衡。

共对人质使出一连串的恐怖手段，人质一天一天在恐慌中渡过，另一方面菲政府却欲救
