发帖数: 720 | 1 推理小说我偏爱英国与日本的。英国小说有逼真的生活感，闲逸诙谐，这两点到女作
家笔下更发挥到细致入微，且添上了神秘与感伤的色彩。
除了阿加莎，还有PDJames, Josephine Tey, Dorothy Sayer。James风格有点象巴
尔扎克，文字干爽，少细枝末节的描绘与反思。Tey的，看看她的代表作时间的女儿
就知道了。Sayer的，翻拍的TV
drama在PBS播放，不在mystery栏目里，而是在Masterpiece Theatre里。但这三个我还是
有很多要抱怨的地方。最不满的是这三位的文字里都流露出英国人的冷漠势利，对遗老贵
族文化精英的仰慕，对劳动人民蓝领阶层的轻蔑，这对在社会主义国家里长大的读者来说
是不可忍受的。
最后一位是蝴蝶梦(Rebecca)的作者，Daphne Du Maurier。她的海滩之屋(House
on the Strand)，及替罪羊(Scapegoat?)也还不错。缺点是伊大多小说里的第一叙述
者，都象蝴蝶梦里的那个小女子一样passive，因其小说是从第一叙述者的角度来展
开的，所以整个小说风格也是模糊，灰色，有拖泥带水之嫌。 |

不清了。英文书常有这种连首的名字，这里s and s连，显得文雅而有内涵，确实象书前
书后的评论条条所言—a most literary mystery，因为不光是题目，正文里murderer送
给victim的无数匿名信，都是与死亡有关的美丽诗句，这些信件循序渐进，从憎恨，威胁
，动机，预谋，到凶案当天堂皇华美的宣称谋杀。。。都由这些杂七杂八四处淘来的古言
构成。题目翻成中文耸人听闻，对我来说literary 不literary并不重要，因为也看不大
明白诗歌，我就是喜欢这样耸人听闻神秘兮兮的感觉啊。。。
这本书最让我后悔的是居然是大白天看的，清早拿起，情节紧凑让人放不下手，直到下午
，天色未黑凶手已经昭然若揭，白白浪费掉了一个恐吓自己的大好机会。。。
故事是这样的。
Cordellia Grey是个冷静内敛聪明善感外柔内刚不失朝气的拥有一家破落侦探社的年轻姑
娘，每天的侦探工作大半是替人寻找宠物。每天她都在担心生计问题。她的工作伙伴是个
