位低下，所以短时间内不会有PGA赛事在他的球场举行。但是这些球场都是一等一的好球
场，只是没有Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass那种经典赛事所带来的光环．

PRO们都害怕的第14洞 DOG-LEG RIGHT PAR5, GREEN像个炮台
有打短的，LAYUP，像紫色线画的
有打直的，出了FAIRWAY，进左边ROUGH，像蓝色线画的, Retief Goosen
有打CUT CORNER的，没CUT过去的，有的进BUNKER，有的进右手边ROUGH，像黄色线画的

唯一一个我看到，最牛逼的就是沿FAIRWAY FADE的， 像红色线画的
Tiger
虽然他拿的BIRDIE，不过到那个时候人人都觉得大势以去了
现在再回想他TEE OFF的那个球，实在太牛X了 |

plant some bent grass, or bermuda, and dig some hole, throw in some sand to
create bunkers...
good for both landscaping and golf

球在cart path上，球员能得到一个clean view. 你不能drop 后，得不到一个clean vi
ew, 这就不公平了。
当然，到d显然也超过了2 club length.. 但这也是exceptional情况下。
不过，rule is rule....有些记住就行。 rule是建立在公平 公正的基础上的。
记得pebble beach的例子，球员号称某一击把球击水里了，那drop off可能就是南太平
洋的某个小岛了。。

分心的事情之间、犯了那么多低级错误之后拿到的，其实很不坏吗。所以要管理好自己

研究GolfCourse上什么草最省水。并号称今年USOPEN PebbleBeach上用的就是他们研究
的草。
估计Green上的就是Green Team 的最新品种。能省xx%的水DependsOn斑斑的大小。哈哈

the two grasses have different texture/speed, compond with the slope, make i
t very difficult to putt.
just play another course (stonetree), which got the samiliar green, bayarea
golfers can try it. very nice course. |

但他表现其实还是不错了，在pebble beach总是要犯错误的，只不过不巧的是他犯错误
的时间把他的动量给毁了。如果是第一天犯错误，最后一天发飙，有了动量搞不好就赢
了。。。
那个caddie按照解说的说法，是他的优势，有local knowledge，给了不少帮助的。 |

Rule is rule. they know this is going to happen, they made this rule crystal
clear before the tournament. actually, this same thing happened before on
this course during 2004 PGA Championship.
Nick Faldo made a comment afterward, he said he would never ground his club
whenever he's on sands, pebble, or any hazard area on a course, it's just a
precaution. I guess this is the difference between experienced player and a
un-experienced player. |

Bayonet & Blackhorse: 美军基地Camp Ord里头，场地风景俱佳。
Pacific Grove Municipal: 场地短，后九风景堪比Pebble Beach。
Poppy Hills: NCGA的主场， 办过AT&T National Pro Am。球道窄，CART-PATH only,
上午场地也太潮湿。不推荐。 |

since i live close to the bridges (one of those hardest courses), I get used
to those so-called "高级场" before i know it.
but again, the better you can play, the better you can appreciate the course
, and the designer.
I guess that is why i am still not attempting to play pebble yet. |

i went to pebble beach golf links new year's day,
first i went to peter hay par3 course, found many people playing there while
the "check-in" booth was closed. i regret that i didn't have golf bag
inside my car.
then went to us open course 17 and 18 near sunset, figured play 2-3 holes
should be ok.
how about san ramon muni? i guess 1-2 hour before dark should be easy sneak
in, haven't tried that yet. |

my tennis is still ok, back injury didnt impact much of my serve, but i lost
almost 10 yards for every club.

9杆加五不知道，但是我刚刚干过， 在没有罚杆没有进林子的情况下，9杆加4，还是在
PEBBLE BEACH
最郁闷的是，五杆洞（＃14），打完两杆后，我离洞最近（150顶风），同伴（其中一
位是单差点）都是东一下，西一下，基本是打了三四下，才到我身边，所有人打完，就
等我拿 BIRDIE，结果，我最惨，150码攻丢，一切，切短，再切，球上了GREEN，因为
是炮台果岭，球又ROLL回来了，改推，心想别再ROLL回来，推猛了，从另外一边ROLL出
了GREEN，再改切，切得剩3尺，同伴都说好切，最后3尺没推进去
自己都算不过来这算几上几推，反正总数是9
没有丢球，没有罚杆，结果却惨不忍睹，走下GREEN，同伴都不知道怎么安慰我。
（还好，整场球就这一个败笔）

发帖数: 2057 | 41 如果你第一推是在果岭外的话，应该还是算chipping。所以是三挥四切两推。推杆技术
统计没损伤。
大坡度的切杆看来不好掌握。练习果岭习惯了，场上调整不容易。没人时多几个球在场
上练习short game可能是个办法。
想到职业球员飞来飞去打不同的球场，场地长大家都知道，可果岭速度，旗杆位置恐怕
才是真正的杀手，与我们的水平差距不可以道里计。
