据悉，布赖恩特曾在去年的8月31日在多伦多市中心开车与一名骑单车人士Darcy Sheppard发生碰撞、产生争执，继而开车将他撞死。由于布赖恩特曾担任过总检察长，所以省高院邀请温哥华律师佩克(Richard Peck)担任检控官，负责起诉此案。
佩克表示，从尸检和现场的调查来看，布赖恩特并无被定罪之理由(there was no reasonable prospect of a conviction)。例如，对Sheppard的尸检发现他血液中的酒精含量超过驾驶规定的两倍;而在两人的冲突中，Sheppard的身体曾“伸进”车子，攻击了布赖恩特。

片，其原因是美国没有打赢这场战争，所以不好意思宣扬。例如，在网上广为流传的一
篇署名黎阳的题为“中国封锁美国20年——写在中国人民志愿军入朝参战50周年”的文
章（2000年10月21日）写道：
“二十世纪以来美国在亚洲打过三仗：对日战争，朝鲜战争，越南战争。对日战争中美
国和中国是盟友，结果美国赢了。朝鲜战争和越南战争中美国和中国是对头，结果美国
表面上一平一输，实际是都输了，而且输得一次比一次惨。好莱坞的电影对这三场战争

1． Roman Holiday – Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck
高中时在电视上看了这部电影，就迷上了男女主角。 Gregory Peck从此成为心目中的
头号梦中情人。 Audrey Hepburn的电影差不多都买过了。 可能是太迷她了，高中好友

我很像。 她们最后决定两个因素都有。 我听了之后为之绝倒。

不是很喜欢男主角的演员。 但这部戏不错。 Nat King Cole 唱的As Time Goes By很
