used to work as a Tv news anchor. She
told me that her (CCTV anchor's) pronunciation is just a little bit off, but
the pace of sentences is almost pefect. For
her pronouncing "ribeye" as "rib-eye" as pointed out by some comments, she
said that it is barely a problem and she
believes that many native speakers could also "mispronunce" this word.
Anyway she got really impressed by this

Now I know you are just plain stupid. I said YOU couldn't tell, not
EVERYONE couldn't tell. It pefectly explains why you have no logic in your
arguments.
For other people who are curious, here's a very brief explaination to show

本人从来就是电子产品的落伍者，不过乔布斯死后媒体把他作为“创新灵魂”来报道，
引起了我的兴趣。于是自己也凑了把热闹，预订了一本《STEVE JOBS》，想看看他是如
何创新的。
由于自己习惯了window操作系统，每次不得不用Mac的时候都会很恼火（很多快捷键设
置与windows不同）。媒体对苹果有品位的描述，让我第一次仔细打量了一下苹果电脑
。除了all in one（主机和显示器整合为一），无缝简洁的外壳，极具观赏性的键盘鼠
标，我还注意到了电脑支架设计的独具匠心：其它电脑的支架设计了很多的连接结构，
而且调整起来也颇费力；苹果就简简单单的一个可伸入主机的L型支架，上下左右旋转
都很随意，去掉了很少用得上的上下调节功能。有点意思哦！
这个“有点意思”加上点好奇的动力，让我很快读完了这本大部头。

美国一下挥刀太狠，中国没法一时接受，现在如果能一刀刀切，最后如果也能切到位，
不也是到达目的了吗？
中国的经济总量在哪儿，哪那么容易，如果中国真蹦了，对美国也没有好处，对美国的
持久的好处就是 北京模式只能第二选择，美国模式还是主导，美元地位还是第一，
如果全球是个巨大股份公司，底线是美国模式只要一直占到 51%，就成
我估摸着，美国自己本土 大概站～35%，欧洲，日本等占～25%，中国自己已接近～20%
，局部～25%，而且发展势头有，欧美这边因为内部 左的社会主义化，加上福利负担，
移民价值冲突带来的社会红利对社会负担已有变负的趋势，等等，发展势头几乎持平，
现在能先维持住这个局面，同时压制 北京模式 发展，不要增长到30% 以上是关键，而
不是吧北京打回到20%一下。
中国因为自己的经济总量变大，人口红利渐微，下一代“吃苦”精神少，“享受”多，
等等增长自然会放缓些，如果美国这届政府运作的当，内部民主党不要光搞政治内斗，
中共这个巨大政治实体在内外挑战下会放缓扩张，而更多转到内部维持。

I have one, two tone, ecoboost, I love it, My wife, son, my parents, my wife
's parents and I all ride it while still feel spacious. Function like a van,

个人情况，100名左右cs phd (just got) + 2年工作经验。现在package 140K，刚刚拿
到facebook offer package 195K。
其实我找到第一份工作还是完全的靠本版，当时phd第四年刚结束，被变态老板折磨得
死去活来，准备quit来找工作，就到处面试，当时觉得准备得非常充分了，AMGLF拿到4
个onsite，结果还是统统被拒。 在我被最后被A拒了以后，实在受不了，在这里大大吐
槽了一下，然后吐槽就被老大T看到，附带一句，T真的是我的贵人。他当时是一个小公
司的director，在mit上闲逛的时候看到我的帖子被首页，觉得可以给我一个机会，就
和我联系了一下，接下来的面试基本水过，顺利拿到offer。每次想到这个就觉得非常
的传奇和运气好。
结果11年12月开始上班，在T老大的手下，本来想好好表现一下，结果悲剧的是12年2月
，公司内部斗争，中国人老大被赶下台，然后T被坐冷板凳，我被划给了一个三哥。。

NCAA women's bball 最近几年有相当大的发展。部份的原因大概是NBA的兴旺，
爱好体育的风潮日炙。。。NCAA MAN's game...ETC
uconn刚好赶上了好时机。在UCONN之前，TENN和 la tech 等已经dominate多年了但始终
没有象UCONN今天这样的气候。当95年UCONN第一次pefect season
而且借助总部在CT的ESPN的宣传开始吸引全国性的注意力。
别的学校不象上面两个学校这样投入，但只要稍微努力一点，象OU这样的例子才六年前th
eir program还差点挂掉, 后来换了一个high school coach, come from nowhere, 今年
也闯入决赛了。 |

我觉得木棍和板子的连接用tapered圆柱头到园孔的接法更好些。工艺上最简单，密封
上最有效。很容易做到吻合。你目前的平头到平眼的连接方法对你的加工要求比较高，
而看上去你还没这个条件或经验。当然你用rasin可以补一下。但是这个以后可能是个
隐患。
作为第一次，我建议你参考已有的plan而少作太大的创新，除非你已经是很有经验的
DIYer了。像你这样拼接的船我印象里还没见过。不是说它绝对不可行，而是可能遇到
的问题会多些。现成的Plan往往是比较合理的，至少不会有大疏漏。而你目前的设计，
我觉得你还不如用个大木桶当船呢，哈哈。你如果是考虑携带方便，干脆买个充气船。
如果是兴趣，那最好就做得pefect些。 |
