is to differentiate between transudate vs. exudate,
in his case with recurrent effusions if builds up so quickly, would probably
need video assited thoracic surgery to obtain more tissues for diagnosis,
for psuedomonas infection probably needs to make sure it's not ESBL strains,
but normally i'd double cover with anti-pseudomonal penicillin and
quinolone,

rapid strep test in the clinic. The problems of not going to a clinic are
the following:
1. If you don't have a strep throat, most likely you don't need to take
antibiotics.
2. Erythromycin is an OK antibiotics for strep throat. But if you don't
have allergy to penicillin, erythromycin is not the first line treatment.
3. There is a risk of paratonsilar abscess, which can be an emergency. |

1. in america, dental attention is super expensive. other than dental
insurance, you get several other ways to save money on that. find some
dental student, maybe they are interns or just senior student, but they can
do the job with affordable expense. Or go back to china, round trip flight
fare is still much less than the costs of dental therapy.
2. if you are breast feeding, try to avoid flagyl, penicillin or derivatives
is OK.

In China, now for any viral infection with high fever in children, almost
every (every) doc prescribes 3 kinds of medications: 1. mortrin 2.
antibiotics 3. anti viral medictation (mostly, one type of chinese medicine,
a bad taste oral liquid). Both 2 and 3 are unnecessary.
Leukopenia is an infrequently recognized complication of penicillin-related
antibiotic therapy. I've been told it's quite common in children in China

1) I am not saying you did not get strep throat, but by in large, most
severe sore throat is still viral, not by strep. 化脓的白斑 can be seen in

drainage, then give effective antibiotics. choose antibiotics based on
antibiotic sensitivity test results.
Aruginosa Pseudomonas can be resistant to many antibiotics, but it is also
sensitive to many. for a 2-year old, the choices are mainly in modern
penicillins and cephalosporins. |

mastitis，唯一办法是停止喂奶。但好在那次的医生有经验，给我做了两个culture，
就是取些奶化验，看看细菌的类型。结果发现引起我的乳腺炎的细菌对penicillin有抵
抗力，所以前两次用的抗生素都没有完全杀死细菌。那次医生换了一种抗生素，我也再
也没有得乳腺炎，一直全母乳，宝宝快七个月了。所以建议mm和医生沟通一下，做个细
菌培养，也许能够根治。 |

I experienced an infection in my gum area earlier. The doctor took the
conservative way by giving me some penicillin. My OB told me neither the
infection nor the pill would have an impact on my baby as long as it's under
