then you need to find some new friends.
BTW, money is not the problem, without money, people would be envy about sea
shells, food, cloths, etc. Greed can hurt, but it is also the force drive
human being to do more and create more things. You use your greed to help
motivate you, don't let greed control you. |

and shorter. I did get asked the famous 'describe a time when you faced an
obstacle and how you overcome it' question. Interview is really about how
well you BS.

the beginning for phds. :-)
personally, i feel physics peopel may have some advantages cause they may have
more solid knowledge in some areas and can pick up some ee/cs/me work easily.
your personal interests/knowledge/experience in these fields may be helpful,
not only for job-hunting but also for ur career.
actually, in UK (maybe quite some commonwealth countries) there r lots of
patent people with a degree in physic |

Merck is actually hiring a lot of peopel. I think basic sciences such as
chemistry and biology will turn around in a few years, because fewer and
fewer people are willing to enter these areas. The pay is simply not worth
the efforts. You spend 2-3 years getting a MS, and end up getting paid just
a bit more than a UPS driver or a primary school teacher.

I sat in the back seat of 3 before, it is not comfortable for
any drive longer than half an hour.
The back seat of 5 is much better. We will have a 3k-mile road
trip with parents in law early Aug., I can not imagine four peopel
