residents are stuck in housing developments without electricity, limited
access to water, and meals. Relief efforts seem to be largely coordinated by

The lower east side chinatown is one of the damaged area. A lot of elderly
people are still trapped in their house. We can at least offer language help

Hester St. They are opening at 10am. If you want to volunteer, go there.

aldi很多non perishable的东西和家庭用品还是不错的，价格明显便宜。不过蔬菜水果
确实不如人家的新鲜，买的时候要仔细地挑。另外他们家商品种类和品牌选择都少，不
能一趟买齐需要的东西。还有些东西会断货，尤其special buy之类的，过了这村就没
这店了。总的来说，该店适合时间充裕、有耐心跑好几家店的老人和主妇，呵呵。 |

Research is oil, engineering is water. Oil usually don't mix with water.
Pure research is basically dead in industry after Bell Lab is closed. For
research, publishing paper is the only game in town. Publish or perish.
For pure research, both industry and national labs cannot compete with
universities. Yes, tenure means a lot. This model loosely works for pure
sciences, supported by tax payer's money or charity. However, for scintists

看上2个连体汤耗子房，一个在Bellaire,一个在memorial，不知道买哪个了。
房子本身，Bellaire 的新，而且更喜欢，上班开车20分钟，学校是condit，pin oak/
perishing, bellaire high.
memorial的房子要老20年，里面也都upgrade过了。学校非常好，是frostwood,
memorial midd/high.离公司近，可能只要10分钟就好了。但是看房子外墙有裂缝，担
心地基有问题。而且不确定是不是这种老房子会有白蚁问题，比如从邻居来的。。。比
上面的略大，价钱贵个3万左右。
两个价钱差不多。
请知道和熟悉这两个区的同学多给建议。
