reaction (HRP conjugated 2nd antibody). It should be fine to use at a very
low concentration.
After all, it is all up to the antibody. For b-actin, sure freeze and thaw
is fine.
For some delicate antibodies, it will be a big problem.
So for me, unless it is extremely hard to get the antibody, I woudn't reuse
for more than 5 times, usually 3 times. |

Note that the dissociation constant (pKa) of hydrogen peroxide is 11.62,
and hydrochlorous acid (HOCl) is 7.4, expressed in terms of pH. It then
becomes obvious that the peak activity of the E0 for hypochlorous acid is
very near the pH of the water being treated, and the H2O2 is considerably
higher. Thus, H2O2 would express a much lower ORP value at pH 7.4 than
would hypochlorous due to the vast difference in the pKa constant.

say something that he is not very sure about. I am doing more literature
search on these arguments. Anyway, I think what ross2000 said is very useful, at least it could lead you to think about radical polymerization more deeply. It will be useful in the future. |
