puzzle perplex confuse bewilder
都含"使困惑不解"的意思。
puzzle 指"情况错宗复杂， 因而使人感到困惑不解"， 如：
What he did puzzled me greatly.
他的作为使我深感迷惑不解。
perplex 较正式， 除含有puzzle 的意思外， 还侧重"心情的困惑和行动的不决，
不知如何办"， 如：
His face was perplexed；
he went away.他的脸色看起来茫然， 然后就走了。
confuse 指"把事物混淆或弄乱"或"由于混淆、混乱而糊涂"， 语气较弱， 常指暂
时现象， 如：

From the dictionary, "perplexed" seems more often used in the situation of a
dilemma; while "puzzled" is frequently used in a puzzle :P
then what part of "confused" differs from "puzzled"?? |

fix, correct, ... the problem or issue. "Puzzled" only means that
something isn't clear, without implying anything about the resolution or
course of action.
I would be perplexed about about mind-boggling puzzle that I can't solve.
(This is weird, isn't it? Shouldn't I be puzzled about a puzzle?)
