不知道从什么时候开始，sex版成了发布征ONS消息栏。除了少数几个女ID或者确实能说出个一二三的男ID，好像就没有什么成功的例子。多数都是YY,发泄，碰运气，开玩笑
，搞得征贴满天都是。确实感到北美WSN的性问题已经成为阻碍我北美广大WSN融入异国
生活的大障碍，特此分享一些想法，希望能帮大家。
其实就算没有五姑娘，WSN在美国日子也不必像苦行僧的修行，只要你能放开自己。就
算你在国人中间很猥琐，有啥关系，外国人不了解啊！yahoo personel上边都是人，而
且是一般人，你在他们面前也都是硕士，博士，他们也就一个本科，有的就是高中毕业
，也要高看你一眼。不信试试三十岁左右玩腻了想成家的美国人，成功地希望总比你在
这儿往大海里扔石子命中的几率大。反正征ONS都不介意了,为啥不去交往试试，她/他
有了钱途 |

我是H1,申请了一个政府的工作，本来转H1B的材料都已经交上去了，没想到突然offer
被撤！！对方告知说，背景调查出了问题！！
最近从Federal Personel Office要来自己的背景调查的全套材料，万万没有想到的是
，两年前实习过的一家学校的中文老师，给了我一个奇狠无比的评价——说我为人不诚
实，不能信任我的integrity之类。完全就是断了我所有的路！
我真是觉得冤枉无比！！！我从小一直家教优秀，在国内一路都是好学生，人品绝对绝
对没得说阿！被这样冤枉实在这口气咽不下去！！写mail过去问，那个老师说，我趁他
不在的时候偷看他的东西，联系他的professional contact~!我更是根本根本没有的、
不存在的事情啊！我真的不知道从何而来！再问，他就不理我了！
各位，作为一个人，人格被怀疑，实在我咽不下这口气。而且就在背景调查前我还

only, means none union workers are not allow to work there.

These religious people probably have a kind heart but they don't understand
how the ecosystem work. You can't just dump some animals into the wild and
think they will live happily ever after. They might become an invasive

any tracking nor shipping confirmation from the store. Called their 888
number, got transfer about 3 times, finally after 15 minutes hold, I was
told that there was a delay from Nikon. Why on earth did they take my order

TG的吏制是黑暗到了极点。 这样的事越在基层越常见，只是大小程度不样罢了。
具体到这件事上，不管是否存在当地政治派系斗争，但从事件表象来看很可能是一个团
体对个人的打击报复。 至于是私刑过重导致死亡，还是根本就是蓄意杀人，这种事都
是不可容忍的。
大家对这事期待的结果无非有三种。
1。 就像有为网友提到过的 Take It Personel. 虽说“冤有头，债有主” 但我认为这
不是最好的选择。弄不好会仇未报，还添新恨。
2。 就是个案昭雪，恶人被惩。 这就得首先要保留证据。然后可以同时用下面多种方
法:
2-1. 就像神算子说的那样。 如对方是一个政治派系，可通过他们的对立派在体制
内解决 （可惜，民主在中国有时要靠这种形式体现）。
2-2. 在保护证据时或申冤时可以发动群众， 发生一定程度上的群体事件。最好通
知各方媒体，尤其是央视，凤凰，还一定要有外媒（可叹，媒体监督在中国要靠外媒才
有效）。
2-3. 利用网络监督， 在国内外主要网上论坛上报道该事件的进展。 （可盼， 中
国的民众监督正通过网络发挥越来越大的作用。）

力是你的，谁也抢不走。
我以前PhD的时候花很多的时间帮老板写grant，属于那种停一个月实验，和老板一起写
的那种。弄了好几次，最后一次是毕业完了还留在实验室9个月等老板拿到grant才走的
。有的拿到了，有的被批的很惨，没有任何credit。但是也心里不舒服，但现在回头想
来这些都是非常重要的training。我2个postdoc fellowship两次都拿到，最近的K申请
13分，我觉得完全是我PhD老板的功劳。我的写作全是他“折磨”出来的。
这个key personel，你完全可以婉转的提出来，告诉老板如果加到grant里，对你的绿
卡申请有帮助，看看他能不能handle。我觉得你老板会同意的。但是，作为一个Eb1a的
过来人，这个帮助不大。不是PI，critical role很难claim，容易RFE。还是老实攒
review和文章citation吧。
我觉得你不要算的很精，人在屋檐下，学会低头，humble一点真的很重要。最好让你老

Score--对IM, FM等不是特别重要。要看whole package. 但如果step1<220,那Step2一
定要好。RF and PS更重要。
PS--7月中旬就要开始准备，静下心来自己写。最好800 words.如果申请大学program,
可以写些research. 但通篇不要离开临床。找认识的美国医生改，最后找commercial
改。写的要有趣吸引眼球。
OB/RF-- OB做好，争取拿到strong推荐信，靠近临床。OB时有的印度医生不友好，但巴
基斯坦，埃及等国家的医生很好。
IV— 100%准备，get ready, 表现出--Teamwork, good personality，professional,
你的顽强，谈吐等。可代些personel东西，比如小孩照片来拉近关系。万一去晚的话第
一时间联系，但千万不要 "I apology…",反复道歉。可说些笑话轻描淡写的略去。IV
时要让对方觉得如沐春风，做teamwork player。

of financial personel的文章，发现Moody's Industrial可以找到CEO的名字。我一
直用S&P的数据，差点儿把Moody给忘了。不过Moody's没有免费的电子数据库，只能自
己去抄写了。
